Very nice-big respect to the originator that first posted his video 6 years ago. ...but every year I see more and more people do this and in five years I'm sure every other house will be doing the same as more and more emerging companies copy cat these christmas light controllers and sell them for cheap. Pretty sure China has been lurking over these ideas over the past years and are now making plans to market these. But anyway, great video!

I can't even imagine the time and effort put into something like this. If anything, Trans-Siberian Orchestra could make heavy metal music if they wanted to. And I would say their songs are pretty metal. Listen to Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24. Everyone has heard that song.
no, you need neighbors that are SAINTS - I am a nice neighbor and lights that DON'T make noise annoy ME LOLOL but I have to say I LOVE THIS and who the f--k CARES if it's metal, rock or classical - a good job is a good job and I'll be MONEY the complainers couldn't string a Christmas tree without an instruction book IF they could even read it
@iStolleh yeah and u do...sure there r different types of metal thrash/speed/power/orchestral/80's/Celtic/Death/Operatic Metal. It's still metal, to people who knows what metal is...There also other musical elements involved also.
You don't need a degree, just a few hundred/thousand lights, a light o rama box and a laptop. The expensive ones you just plug in and it does it for you. For the personal more creative touch you synchronise the lights to the music yourself with software. Oh, and you need nice neighbors!!!
These people in the top comments are complaining about this *not* being heavy metal. The uploader might have thought it was heavy metal, maybe because he/she has never listened to it. Who *truly* cares over a mistake such as this? TSO *is* a good group of musicians who remix classical songs into /ROCK/, such as seen in this video.
