This parrot loves to sound like a cat, and also a dog. But it's what little Diego squawked out to a UPS driver that prompted police to respond. The parrot yelled, “Help me.” The concerned driver had stopped by the home outside Portland, Oregon and heard what he thought was a cry for help. He texted his wife to call 911.The parrot is owned by Susan Baird, who says she's not surprised that her beloved pet yelled for help while she was gone. #InsideEdition

Who else thought the parrot was mimicking a victim's cries?
I mean, it could be true. This is just a theory though. But, birds mimic people, so it heard ot from somewhere. Nomrally, when parrots witness a traumatizeing event, they mimic the words. The parrot is plucking its feathers out, thats a sign that its stressed and anxious. Honeslty , something isnt righr about this.

She also wasn’t asked?? Why does this have so many likes?
A parrot that old can pick up a line hearing it just one time people. Come on. There’s also the chance it’s a rescue and it was taught in a past home. Reason for the plucking could be a million reasons. It came from a rescue already looking like that and the follicles have been severely damaged and can’t grow feathers anymore. Mites? Allergies? Stress? But it doesn’t mean the owner is a bad owner. We rescue parrots in worse shape and try to better them but the damage is already done. Can’t possibly blame the owner cause no one knows when the problem started or how. Let’s all just try to enjoy a funny story and not point fingers.
