  • Coffee & Conversation #1 we discuss pet peeves and what annoys us about each other. Although we get along really well, we are opposites in so many ways. Let us know your pet peeves! In this first episode, our microphones haven't been delivered yet so we are just having fun experimenting. We will get better at this soon enough XD

Yup. When I was 18 I got hit by this SUV that was doing 20mph over the speed limit. (I was driving a small compact car and was slowing down to make a turn).
He hit me from behind and I hit my head on the steering wheel and blacked out for a few seconds or maybe a minute. When I came to and I managed to get out of the car, I had a panic attack and apparently one of the things I said while I was freaking out was “I’m so sorry!”
So the cop gave me the ticket even though the jerk in the SUV obviously hit ME and was clearly speeding.

I once told my neighbors that I was not comfortable with them having people come over to fix things when no one was home, and they were so nasty. She snapped, "You don't have anything that anyone would want to steal." I was really taken aback. My first reason was that I didn't want my pets being upset when someone came over that they didn't know, but my second reason was that we are disabled and have a lot of medication that is not just sitting around but isn't exactly in a vault either. We also have computers and such. On top of that, that is so demeaning and belittling. It is about the comfort someone has with the place with they live and their privacy.

Sharing is caring Sika! When I cook I love to share my food with my family. It's a way to show them how much you love them by feeding good food like green chile chicken Enchiladas with sopas and refried beans. I also make lasagna if they don't want anything with green or red chile. I live in the Chile capital of the United States! Hatch New Mexico, is a hop, skip and a jump from where I live. They have a celebration every year for the chile harvesting. You can literally smell green Chile's being roasted in the air, when it's that time of the year which is September and the smell from this is so amazing and really something that you need to experience in person.
Several events go on in Las Cruces New Mexico. is where I live and we also have quite a few Fiestas and events going on.. like a Renaissance fair, County fair, wine and cheese events, the catholic church Fiestas and much more.. they all happen around the same time of the year, because it is way to hot in the summer time. There is the Enchilada Fiesta where they make the largest, red Enchilada in the world!
Everyone gets a plate of red Enchiladas with beans and rice for free.

Jackie - SAME!! when it comes to being messy AND having a sister that is the opposite. My home is a messy place (now dirty? That's a different story. I CLEAN, I just suck at organizing) My sister puts things back before you're done with it. If I see a dish in her sink, I can pretty much guarantee that she or her husband are still eating. I WANT so badly to be organized. I try so hard, and I've organized so many times..... but I just end up letting stuff pile up because I'm too busy (or too tired, or too sore... yay chronic illness!) or get overwhelmed.

I have an interesting situation regarding OCD. I'm OCD and messy. House is in order. A place for everything and everything in it's place, and labels facing outward. When it comes to my office, that's a mess, hoarded stuff everywhere.
The whole don't touch my stuff, YES! Irks me every time. When I was working I would come into my office and instantly knew someone was in my office touching my stuff. I left my stuff in a certain way and it was not the same exact way when I came back. Staff would tell me they were in the office and what they did. I was okay with that.
    Smacking lips drives me nuts.

I just knew when I first found this channel that I had so much in common with the two of you ! Besides being a crafter of many talents like y'all are, I'm *also* an insomniac!!! Mine I feel is caused by the myriad of health problems that I suffer with - including chronic pain and depression with anxiety. But, I have gone three days without having gotten a wink of sleep before. This video is a step from the norm, but, still quite funny. Thank you both for helping me to laugh sometimes. Actually, it's *every* time I see your videos. And, Sika, I'm also the youngest child of four in my family. I have two older brothers, and one older sister - born in that order. ((BB - GG) Our parents are both gone from us, however. I do really enjoy seeing and watching your videos, Jackie and Sika. TYSM for making them for us. Growing up, my sister and I *also* used to have to share a double bed. Only thing is - she's always been the organizer of the two of us. I have so many crafting things around my house it looks a bit cluttered. Thankfully, my husband understands about my being into so many different crafts, though. PLEASE keep making your videos for us all - we need the laughs and knowledge you impart upon us nowadays, so much. 😻😻😻

It's good to see you both in a video again, love the banter!
I think problems Jackie's running into are a part of ADHD called executive functioning, or when they're not all working together "executive dysfunction".
Finding shortcuts and system can really help:
Having your stuff organised so it reflects your ~see/not see~ & ~organise/dump~ preference can do a lot.
Figuring out how much time something ~actually~ takes and blocking out time chunks for tasks vs being snagged by the "I'll start at 7:30, oh it's 7:32, I need to wait for 7:40 now"
Automating things like having a countdown timer for your lights that's reset with movement
The neurodivergent brain is amazing at things that would be incredibly hard for other people, but it also has things it just doesn't want to do.
    Keep being awesome, yeah?

This is so interesting, my partner always puts his clothes directly in the basket and I always put them.. well everywhere basically haha, but often in front of the basket.

Thoroughly enjoyed the video. My husband was like yours until I had a stroke. Now he puts his clothes away and doesn't leave them beside the hamper because HE has to pick them up. He also has to do the washing, the dishes, and clean litter boxes. I did everything before the stroke. I still have issues with him doing the things I did...he doesn't clean the litter boxes like I did, he doesn't do the dishes the same night but waits DAYS to eventually do them. He doesn't clean the stove when he makes a mess, but, again, waits DAYS, to do it. When I fuss about it, and I do, I'm 'whining', and nagging him. I can't help it. I HATE a messy kitchen. I takes me months sometimes to just get him to sweep and mop the kitchen floor. I won't even go into the bathroom issue. Before my stroke (2 1/2 years ago) it was kept very clean. It's where the litter boxes are. I'll avoid the issue of keeping the litter boxes washed out as well. I want to get better so badly but recovering from a stroke takes time. I'm attempting to walk on my own without a walker or cane. Since he won't help me with my recovery, I'm doing what I can on my own as well as the visit to the therapist twice a week. I'm getting there though very, VERY slowly. Sigh. 🙂

It's my birthday! Well, it was when this was posted. XD
I loved this! And it's defffffinitely a male thing... my boyfriend does that, too. He'll throw his dirty clothes in the basket when he's near it, because it's right outside our bathroom, but otherwise he just leaves his clothes on the floor. He also eats crazy big portions of things! You should see when he texts me to pick up drive thru or something... the bill is nuts. Thankfully he always reimburses me. Lol. XD
Love you guys, can't wait for the next one!

My brother was and IS always a half hour to an hour late. I learnt to go an hour ahead with him. Used to peeve me off when I wanted to watch an hour show on TV and it was over by the time he let me watch anything. I also had friends who asked ME out and never showed up That ALWAYS peeved me off or someone ringing me up and saying: "I bored" there are of course things about myself that peeved me off. Biggest ones are issues with my skin I even have an allergy to rain.
