Tbh if you really didnt do even one of the things you mentioned you should get a no traces bonus and that's pretty much a guaranteed s rank so something is wrong
boyman no traces is basically perfect stealth except you didn’t hit the attach button at all. That means no cqc, no knocking out guards, not throwing mags, and no tranqs. Pretty difficult but this mission is fucking easy if you figure out the right path.
So I picked this game up again, and remembered a ridiculously good explanation for Cipher sending a full platoon, choppers, and armored vehicles to kill Big Boss when he woke up. Think about it... They sent in their best assassin to kill a man that just woke up from a decade-long coma. And after a short period of radio silence, she tumbles out of a fifth story window, screaming and on fire. I'm guessing the rest of Cipher's forces had an "Oh, SHIT" moment, realizing they really were going up against the world's greatest soldier.

Metal Gear 3 is arguably the best metal gear but mgsv is such a masterpiece for the lore alone, and the fact it is kind of a tribute to the fans. My only complaint is it feels like half a game, but all the realizations mgsv does for the metal gear lore alone is amazing.
