You missed the point in court where Storey said Whyte Bikes wasn't a recognizeable brand and Whyte brought up a photo of Grosjean riding one of their bikes.
It's also amuzing that Whyte Bikes designers/owners are former formual 1 suspension engineers
@@alpd7638 yeah if I remember Jeoff whyte worked with benetton from 1992-1994 , then worked for manitou suspension before moving to Marin bikes . He left marin to start Whyte bikes after coming up with the Quad linkage for Marin.
He also designed for maverick, making a truss fork . And the whyte prt-1 linkage mountainbike .

I'll be honest, the first time I saw Rich Energy on Haas car I thought they were a Texas based oil company, who had the financial resources to afford sponsoring a F1 team. How the heck was Haas conned so easily.
I thought the same thing! In the 2nd episode of drive to survive season 2, the guy just looks like an oil tycoon in his helicopter. No doubt it's a money laundering scheme.

Rich Energy continued to post about Haas right until the end of the season like they were still involved with the team and nothing had ever happened. Their social media feeds are littered with stuff about the team, even boasting about car upgrades. An incredibly bizarre thing to do.
It's bloody entertaining, tbh. It's borderline satirical.
Makes sense actually. Their brief time in F1 is what got them all the attention in the first place.

When my friends and I went to the Indianapolis motor speedway during the month of may it turned out Rich Energy also was sponsoring a indy lights entry (formula 2 for IndyCar) and they had a fridge full of rich energy open to anyone to have.
I ended taking like 10 cans just cause of the fact it's impossible to get here in the US. I still have one and so does one of my friend.
In all honesty I wouldnt be surprised if they literally were selling watered down red bull. Cause that's what it tastes like.

@@thejoshrevell they did sponsor jordan king. But in all honesty i dont even think it was a primary sponsor. It looked like more of an associate sponsor if anything.
But yea, they had a deal with one of the indy lights teams for the month.

It seems HAAS has a curse when it comes to sponsorships that end up being scams
Not only did they deal with Rich Energy in F1, But in Nascar Stewart HAAS Racing (the same HAAS) Had The sponsors Natures Bakery In 2017, who didnt pay a dime because they weren't happy with the exposure or lack their of. Stewart HAAS Racing sued Nature's Baker and won the case.

Well, what happened was that the guy who was mostly in charge of Rich Energy, was a bit nutty and criminal. A compromise was nearly made where he was removed as CEO and the company still sponsored Haas, but that fell through.
People fail to realize Haas is its own title sponsor. Haas CNC is owned by Gene Haas, a motorsports enthusiast who also co-owns the Stewart-Haas NASCAR team. Long story short, Haas wont be falling off the grid anytime soon solely because of a lack of a title sponsor.
There's a store down the road from where I live that sells rich energy. I actually baught a few days ago.

It is extremely easy to have drinks made for you by bottlers, all of the big companies outsource to these companies. I would assume their plan was too build a brand with all their marketing and bullshit, then switch on the production lines. What confuses me is, I know all of these big companies in the UK and none of them have ever heard of it.
