They seem pretty light duty and I’ve heard swapping to name brand 1/4 cable makes it decent. After looking at sink type snakes I went Ridgid PoweClear. Haven’t used it enough to really have meaningful info, but it seems decent. For pro/frequent use I’d get a K-40, but for a person with a few properties who usually only runs into hair clogs in 1.25-1.5 lines I couldn’t see dropping that kind of coin.
Same happened to my , the cable pops after used for 20 minutes back and forth. Something with the cable connection. ,I liked how it works but they need to fix that issue for sure.
The photos in their ad show someone pushing it down a bathroom sink drain. ...I guess the marble counter top precluded the need for a TRAP under the sink. Perhaps some might fall for that, but going in through a clean-out might be a better idea. The tight turns in a trap are too tight for a snake. I buy from Harbor Freight, so I'm not just bashing them. Their ad in this case is bee ess.
Run it in L and not R... Running it in R is what fucks it up.
You might want to read operating instructions next time
Did you unlock the clutch it comes from the factory locked? Also only run it to the left. They won’t take at store anymore not sanitary I suppose.
It’s for sink drains only. Don’t use it on the main.
