    These heavy games are fascinating and your playthrough makes it much easier to get into and accessible for new players. Many thanks for your good work with this.

    I love that Descartes has two candles. One of his main examples in the Meditations on First Philosophy involved candle wax!

    Thank you for such a thorough tutorial and play through! How many times did you go through the game before you did the video? Very impressive. Also, do you think you might do one for Bios:Genesis? That would be a blessing.

      Hi! thank you. Just once (!) But I spent just over 3 days setting things up, learning the rules, tearing it down, trying things out, and researching ... it's one of those games that prompts you to go investigate things. Genesis, I bought a copy a while ago but still haven't gotten to grips with, but I'd definitely like to give it a crack.... Hope you enjoy the rest of the series. R.R.

    Damn that game is impressive. If I would have seen that game earlier in my life, I wouldn't have thought about creating an own board game for the last 7 years.

      it's amazingly fine-tuned for a thing so complicated....

      @@BoxofDelights that was exactly what I failed to do all those years. And I very much like, that it is kind of a territorial strategy game but with less focus on war and instead more focus on the effects of soft power.

    Nice explanation.
    Going into total debt is quite bad, better prevent it.
    But you made small mistake in first part of playthrough. When you killed you red admin in Virginia, he should move to wealth box and you should place dissident in that sphere. Round figures are never placed onto square spots and vice versa.

    Your amendment at the start of the video - Actually, isn’t the bottom row free?

    • @BoxofDelights
      @BoxofDelights  3 года назад +1

      Yes, so it made no difference in the end; I still had to use my topmost agent; but I was saying I could have taken any of those 4 bottom cards because I had 1 to spend, rather than being forced into taking the bottom one because of a lack of money. Hopefully that makes sense! R.R>

    I am looking for a game that is fantasy or horror based with at least a somewhat decent story that can be played in a decent amount of time per session. 30 - 60 minutes. As well as a small to medium footprint on the table. I enjoy Dungeon Saga and Eldritch Horror, Descent and Hexplore It. I use to think I enjoyed Dungeon style games more but after watching gameplay of Fortune and Glory and A Touch of Evil as well as playing Hexplore it I think I am leaning more toward Adventure. Exceptions are games with a good town aspect included like Dungeon Saga and Shadows of Brimstone. A friend of mine said I may like a couple of the tiny epic series. Do you have any suggestions?

      @@BoxofDelights Not yet. It is on my wishlist on miniature market. Also wanting to get at least a couple of expansions for it. Just not sure which ones.

      thanks. I am also going on vacation soon and am looking for a new game I can play in a possible campaign like way. The games on my list that I dont already own are Sword and Sorcery, Fortune and Glory, A Touch of Evil, Gloomhaven and the 7th Continent. I need to decide soon thou because I need time to read the rules and watch some of your playthrus.
