This is not a a how to play. It is a 'what it is about' and 'here are some mechanisms' I still have no clue how this works. I was interested in this game, but in order to sell the game you need to post a play through of a few turns at the very least. It is incredibly daunting even for seasoned board gamers so I do not understand why you don't concentrate on that. I appreciate the history lesson but this is in dire need of a video from someone like Rodney's 'watch it played.'
I love this video as an introduction to the game. It is absolutely not a how to play. It is however a wonderful primer on the background. The Pax games involve a huge amount of background info to create the deep simulation/thematic experience. Most people are not fully aware of all this info, so videos like this are wonderful. I would argue that this type of video is necessary for these games or you will be missing a lot of the point of the game. It should just be labeled properly. I do agree that how to play videos by people very experienced with that type of video would additionally be extremely helpful.
4.5 the heaviest game on BGG? You must not be a wargamer, as _World in Flames (Master Edition)_ is a 5.0. Oh, and _High Frontier (Third Edition)_ is sitting at 4.74 complexity. As to dice - both these games have them. Dice has nothing to do with complexity.
I have to say they utterly failed with this game in regards to making it consumer friendly. Who is this game for, exactly? This video is a joke, as it explains zero about gameplay. I was going to get it, and spent quite a bit of time in the rule book until my head exploded and I went to bgg and youtube in search of a play through. Not one was found. I even had it on order, but luckily, my sanity returned and I cancelled it. Utterly incomprehensible without a walkthrough, and one thing is for sure: after this experience of trying to wade into the Eklund pool of mass confusion, I won't ever be attempting it again. Heavy is one thing, heavy without even a basic turn walkthough is another.
Could you get a more boring video? Sometimes, while it is great to know the rules, it’s better to get a professional to do these things. Looking forward to getting this game but do try to get an entertaining video produced that covers the rules.
Steve George very much agree with this. Eklund games are amazing but this is the worst possible video. How about an additional camera, a more structured overview, interaction between the two guys, editing? I fee like Eklund is trying his hardest to not se this game.
Consider income tax as modern slavery. Somebody gets the fruits of your job. It was a private person in the past, it's a public entity, such as the State, in the present
Wow man, you don't know what you're talking about. if you want to see what modern slavery looks like, visit the arab emirates and speak to the Bangladeshi migrant workers who are stuck there in perpetual servitude building all those skyscrapers. That is modern slavery.
It is a great pleasure to see and hear Phil ! Thank you!

I fully agree
This is par for the course for an Ion Games’ Jon and Phil “how to play”. I love the videos though. It’s great to hear Jon and Phil’s tboughts.

Different to all the complaints here, when I started the video, I wasn´t too interested in the game, now I´ve decided to get it!
A good intro to the game. Piqued my interest in learning more about it. Tnx...
Do you have a full play-through video of this game?
4.5 on the complexity scale and it has dice?
BGG scale up to 5. 4.5 on complexity scale is very heavy. Like a black hole. I don't think there has ever been a higher rating.

There is a typo in the title of the video.
