    Thanks for the review. I really want to get into Killteam, but I'm going to hold off and see how this new edition is going in a few months.

      i think thats a good idea. kill team has been slowly losing popularity and players. i'm not sure if this is enough to revive it, and am curious if this edition will fix the glaring issues, rules bloat, and long game time.

    Want to start 40k playing the Tau but also interested in Kill Team. Could this set be worth getting as it could also be used supplementary to 40k? Vespid for the army and I really like the terrain.

      ya, the terrain, and vespids would work great for 40k, and you could def sell or trade the aquillons for some other tau, if you wanted to! cheers, welcome to warhammer, in advance!

      @@TableTopBROs thanks! Just read a little further on the topic and having second thoughts. Wanted to go for the farsight enclave and not sure if vespids make sense lore-wise. Started painting minis and am having lots of fun so far, even though the painting was what kept me from the hobby for years. It's easier than expected with certain techniques.

    I'm a new guy who just bought, painted and played Introductory Set and now I wonder what should I pick next. Kill Team Starter, Ultimate Starter or maybe I should go deeper and get Hivestorm? Any advice for a novice?

      depending mostly on what game you want to get into. i'd recommend you get into 40k its by far the most popular, and that means you'll get lots of local players, and opportunities to play the most. you also get a lot more bang for your buck with the 40k starter set like the ultimate starter. you're going to get substantially more models, for around the same price. it will also pair nicely with your introductory set, and give you 2 full combat patrols, and a nice start to 2 40k armies.

    A lot of people are saying the box is not worth it or it’s not hype enough

      its a nice box, lots of value relative to MSRP. but the truth is, you have to decide for yourself.

      @@TableTopBROs Nice, I'll follow here too. About to pickup hivestorm myself pretty soon, I've been playing at my LGS and its really good, didnt play the last edition because I felt like it had a little bit too much to keep track of, but this one seems like a good middle ground so far.

    Hey so it's actually cheaper to buy a elegoo resin printer and enough resin to make 4 of those boxes.

    • @TableTopBROs
      @TableTopBROs  21 день назад +2

      its also cheaper to buy a Toyota, than a Ferrari, but there is not a 1:1 comparison. if you're just looking for game pieces to move around the table, i think 3d prints are viable. if you're looking to collect and paint your minis, there is no substitution to GW. i have seen 3d printed armies, that look very nice, very well painted, sell for peanuts, as where a nicely painted GW army, is worth thousands. its all about what you're looking to put in, and get out of the hobby/game. not all substitutions are 1:1. i have been collecting GW minis for over 30 years, and 3d printing for about 7. they work well together, but in my opinion, 3d printing is not a substitution.

      @TableTopBROs your entirely arguments invalidated in your first few sentences so I didn't read the rest. Its identical, doesnt matter. Yes you'd buy a Toyota that looks identical to a Ferrari because it's 3d scanned and a 1:1 copy. go suckoff gw more
