If you liked this then you'll love this! Patrice O'Neal Discussing Movies [13 Hours]
ruclips.net/video/CMvAid_A3Kw/видео.html
Exactly what I was thinking.👍
There’s nothing better on the internet than Patrice talking about movies.
You should here hom talking about women
Listening to this makes me wish Patrice lived long enough to see Django. I would've loved to hear his take on that movie.
It also came out just a few months after his death
I think it would have been his favorite movie of all time, his day dreams come to life
I think patrice was right about 2012 I think the world did end patrice got raptured and we are all living in eternal hell now.
@Michael Anthony ikr hadn't thought about that. Damn.
What was his take on the movie Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants?
Robin "hairy knuckles" Williams is the most underrated Patrice line haha. RIP to both legends
Imagine Patrice’s take on the Jussie smollet case
I wish I could hear Patrice talk about new movies every 5 years or so. Rest In Peace.
Kozmo617 Agreed! This is the best option now... ruclips.net/video/zMuYvpKoVdQ/видео.html
25:06 "I've had enough of him and his surprise endings, oh really they live on a leaf, drop dead asshole"
Jimmy and Patrice just talking movies would be an incredible podcast. 😞
"M Night Shammerhan is like a river" jimmies michio impression is the greatest hahaha
Could you imagine what patrice’s take would’ve been on the MCU? It makes me wanna perform a seance.
It would be epic, he was a true comic book fan and it would be interesting to hear what he liked and hated about them.
I can hear it now
"👻Oooow... Endgame was meh....oooow👻"
I love movies and I hate all of them.
The only person that runs worse than Maggie Grace in "Taken" is Steven Seagal in ALL of his movies.
Ponytail having girl arms flailing fatso.
Steven Seagal movies are only watched by dudes that dress like Steven seagal
Patrice talking about not wanting characters races changed arbitrarily floored me. Hearing it nowadays, I mean.
Imagine his take on Get Out, or the Lovecraft movie they made all the characters black cause his cats name was hard r lol
It's hilarious that Patrice was talking about the Last Airbender there. That ended up being one of the worst movies ever made.
I don’t think it had come out yet. He may have been basing it on the trailer.
@@shapeshfters You're right. That's exactly what happened.
@@mattb8943 facts. He hadn't seen it yet. I thought that movie was going to be great as well.
Its like Battlefield Earth. I read the books they were fantastic, the movie was beyond horrible.
I actually related to how he felt after the first trailer. I remember watching that trailer and being crazy hyped about the movie lol
I listen to a ton of these old O&A episode. Like minimum 10 per week. It amazes be how every Patrice episode has me glued to my head phones. I can't believe I just barely knew who he was when he was alive...as Lonnie on The Office. It's terrible when anyone dies too young. You certainly notice it far more when it was someone who could have had such an impact on the world. Not trying to be all meloncholy & deep, but it's true. Sucks.
slapchop14 check out his special....Elephant in the Room
I feel exactly the same. I also feel that way about Popsmoke
Patrice kept things more real than anyone I’ve ever experienced.
It's hilarious listening to Patrice O'Neal defending The Last Airbender haha
I love Anthony. But Patrice was really calling out his BS. Jamie Fox is a great actor.
The Harry Connick Jr. retort was a brilliant counterpunch that was glossed over. Patrice was brilliant.
Patrice had a great idea having a show that announced Who's Done. I'd watch that.
Patrice is an expert on the Friday the 13th films.
The fact Patrice is hyped for Last Airbender, but missed Django is tragic
Soy sauce hair had me rolling! hahahaha
Robin "fucken hairy knuckles" Williams. Godamnit Patrice you're the greatest
Patrice's impression of Samuel Jackson at 23:02 had me on the floor
BAH-DAH-BAH-DAH-BAH-DAH-*DOOOO*-BAH!
These 4 are great together.
anyone else notice the word gay in patrice's soul patch? Look real close.
Deadbeat Jeff mind blown
Deadbeat Jeff hh
I THOUGHT IT SAYS GAP
Wow! It really does!
WTF? LOL
they knew The Last Airbender was gonna be terrible before it even came out lmao
10:18
"Here's what I hate bein' and this, and this why I will always until the end of time, which is 2012..."
Patrice Oneal left us November 29, 2011, and look how close to hell we're standing today.
Michael Keaton is coming back fucking strong after that Birdman movie
That movie was so overrated, and I doubt he's comin back Travolta style
Daniel 1 It was overrated because it won an Oscar and because every indie hipster gushed about it online and I saw it and it was a run of the mill movie that obviously got rated highly because of the actors and because of the whimsicalness of the 1 scene that they hyped in the trailers that made everyone think it was a superhero movie. So I'm not disappointed it wasn't a superhero movie, I'm disappointed because the best scene in the movie was the superhero scene in the trailers. The rest was usual indie garbage.
@@jackzillaraps5927 Travolta was done again after Pulp Fiction.
@@shinybeast8946 Battlefield Earth he shot himself in the foot.
This comment aged beautifully
I would have LOVED Patrice breaking down Django Unchained
Would of loved to hear him break down Once Upon a time in Hollywood
@@Ray_D_Tutto it's such a shame. He would have loved to watch brad pit smash that bitches face against the glass
As a fan of Avatar, I love how Patrice described The Last Airbender.
I paused to watch the girl run. So worth it!
the greatest scene in cinematic history has to be the part in Sicario at el jeffe's house.
I always thought Sam Jackson was a bigger charecter than Travolta in pulp fiction.
Sam get a whole charecter arc where his charecter wants to change and be better.
John just gets shot in a bathroom by Bruce Willis.
Exactly. Patrice is just playing the tired race card like he always used to do. I know it’s sacrilege to even dare criticize the great Patrice, but he could be annoying and ig’nant at times.
RIP Patrice
Love how patrice used to hit those hard Fs. RIP
When I feel angry I come here to end that anger.
Jim carrey was amazing in eternal sunshine of the spotless mind.my favorite movie with jim carrey.
Truman Show too.
very true.my second fav jim carrey movie.
I liked Jamie Fox in Collateral. Great movie.
Wish we could hear them talk about it today as far as Jamie Foxx performance.
Patrice's analysis of Samuel L. Jackson is right on! (23:00)
Ant was 1,000% *WRONG* about Jamie Foxx.
Foxx is an overrated sellout.
The funniest part about this entire thing is Patreeky trying to hype up the Last Airbender lmao
"I don't wanna hurt my friends enthusiasm."
“Kikkoman Shampoo”
Jimmy had a great talent for pointing out terrible movies that ppl love. He made me realize Silver Linings Playbook was garbage. I likes it when it came out, but wow is it not good
I lost count of how mant times I've listened to this. One of the best conversations ever recorded.
22:59 LMAO @ Sam Jackson's cadence
6:02 “foreign guy Fuck America speech” 🤣🤣🤣
patrice 4 ever!
I wanna hear Norton and Patrice take on django
23:03 ZABADABA DING DING! that's beautiful!!
@21:16 "they all wana go from TV to movies" oh how the tables have turned
I love Patrice being on the side of Taken. It makes my fuckin day.
Patrice NAILED Sam Jackson
Kurt Russell saved the death proof movie. Makes it watchable. RIP -big guy P
No that was the only good part of Grindhouse.
Foxx was pretty good in Django. I liked Collateral. I don't even remember him in Ali.
Amazing how long ago this was and how they had Michael Keaton checked out of Hollywood. Amazing how things change.
Would’ve been great hearing Patrice’s thoughts on Keaton playing Batman again in 2023.
@@GahMorninJuliathat's been scrapped. Keaton had a nice comeback with the other guys and birdman. He's a good actor.
Every perspective on this show was great.. Lol @ soy sauce hair
Opie looks like Kevin Bacon with more hair and jaundice
Holy shit this floored me!
Patrice says that Hollywood doesn't throw away white actors then goes on to name white actors that Hollywood has thrown away, haha.
He wasn't saying that, he was saying that black actors aren't allowed to transition from comedy to drama
thexbigxgreen He definitely said white actors don't get thrown away.
thexbigxgreen Jamie Foxx is the only one I can think of.
I didn't realize they mentioned him. Just started listening when I replied to comment. Oh ya Will Smith too.
Trembling Colors it's the difference he meant was from movie to t.v. types
listening to that taken segment always wish i was there to mention how many edits they did so Liam Neeson to hop the gate lmao
The Omega Man is a fucking awesome, old school movie that's underrated as fuck.
I love taken
Jamie fox was great in collateral and incredible in jarhead
Jamie's is literally one of the 10 best actors on Earth.
Anthony was totally being racial in his assessment. There's no way anyone with an unbiased objective view can say Jamie Foxx is anywhere close to a bad actor.
@@wolf7el356 agreed. I think cumia is a criminally underrated entertainer tho too
@@wolf7el356
Yeah. Anyone who critiques anyone or anything black is obviously being reeecist. Foh with that liberal mainstream garbage.
@@tymacdougall3140
Give Jarhead another watch. I thought it was good the first few times, but you start to notice how the plot is thin, the writing is cringe in how it tries to be edgy and deep and Gyllenhaal’s character tries super hard to be “wild and crazy” on the brink of insanity. It’s embarrassing and hard to watch now.
"10 best actors on earth?" Not even close.@@wolf7el356
Patrice, breakdown what was the different cadences and social ramifications of Big Momma and Big Momma 2.
I miss energetic angry Jimmy. The current subdued/medicated/dont rock the boat Jimmy stinks
Really miss patrice
This clip should be named zabba dabba do ding dang.
Michael Keaton was the best Batman.
Jamie Foxx was great in Collateral and Django Unchained...
Also 'any given Sunday' - he killed me in the metrex advert... "inflate yo chest... get metrex!"
I actually remember him being bad in Collateral. There was some scene where a gun was being pointed at him, maybe around when he first meets the Cruise character, and his scared acting was fucking embarrassing. I've seen so many unknown character actors do better than that in similar scenes.
Oh, Patrice... If you only knew how wrong you were about Last Airbender. XD
Patrice thought the Last Air Bender was gonna be good 😂
Just got a little bummed hearing Patrice say how much he liked Unbreakable. I wish he could've seen Split and Glass. Damn!
Man how times have changed.. when “going to TV” was a career downgrade
10:20 (Patrice) "Were always to the end of time which is 2012" sure was for him
Shocked Ant would dislike the black actor...didn't see that one coming.
3:05 Just described the Bill Murray joke in Zombieland
Only 16 minutes into this and I already know I'm gonna love the rest.
Side Note: Patrice must have never seen The Negotiator or The Red Violin. And he never will. This is sad . . .
one of our fans obviously (even though jimmy had to explain it to me)
soy sauce hair kills me!
Haa Haa Haaaaahhhahhahhah! (In my Patrice O'Neal voice). XD
travolta was in all the storylines and jackson in one, how could travolta have less screentime?
Its so surreal that they referenced the last airbender and they didn’t know at the time that it was a complete flop
Anthony was wrong about Jamie Foxx in my opinion. He is/was a good actor, and are they talking about law abiding citizen? I thought that was a very entertaining flick!
Omg it really does say the word gay in Patrice's soul patch!! Wtf?
Holy shit it does
At 7:40 Anthony was so thrown off by jimmy lolol who hears him bAbbling away
It was 100% racial for Ant lol
its really good actually
Soy sauce running hair! Lmaoooooo
After Earth?
24:44 LOL the last Air Bender turned out to be the biggest flop in history of Film. M. Night is done.
When he described it I was like "What movie was that, it sounds cool-" 🤣 24:45
Dabba Dabba Dabba ding dong
Even though patrice meant it in a good way he was spot on about the last airbender being bad.
I don't really like Will Smith. He's just too Will Smithy for me. Every movie I see with him is like a movie about Will Smith playing a character. He doesn't take me into his world. I didn't think Johnny Depp when I watched Pirates of the Caribbean. I thought Captain Jack Sparrow. When I watchThe Walking Dead, I'm not thinking Jefferey Dean Morgan. I'm thinking Negan. Will Smith is Will Smith in every movie. Same with Jamie Foxx.
same with tom cruise
Same with Tom Cruise, Travolta, Clooney,Just celebrities playing themselves, not actors.
The walking dead is and always has been shit
28:01 is like a river lol
I was just thinking that
Jamie is a good actor. But I think Norton brings up a good point about being annoying.
Thank God, was worried korra was gonna suck but i liked it alot. Was great.
Travolta had more scenes and had his solo chapters. But QT gave SJ a lot of big roles after that
24:50
...he he he he ha ha ha ha ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha AHAHAHAHAHAHAH-AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha ha ha ha he he he he...he...*sobs*
The times you wish you had a time machine, right?
