Indonesian here. Back then, i only knew Rugby from Maori Haka pretty much shared on the internet, and Eye Shield 21 long time before in mid 2000's (anime)(an American Football story tho, had heard about Rugby from there) but never know about the gameplay at all.
And earlier, World Rugby Cup Japan 日本 2019 was made amazingly. Ok i know how lit it is. I'm not a big fan of Rugby tho, but i wish someday will be there to watch the game directly.

I was at the Amex Stadium, Brighton in 2015, cheering the Brave Blossoms on in their defeat of South Africa.
The atmosphere was amazing - ecstatic, electric, effusive - I’d never experienced that level of excitement before. And it was becoming more and more apparent that they were actually going to achieve the impossible and defeat these giants of the rugby world.
My football-playing son was there too, watching his first game of rugby. Amazed (and astonished) he asked ‘Dad - are all rugby games like this?’
Sadly, I had to tell him he would never, ever again see a game as thrilling & exciting as this one…

Japan hosting the 2021 (edited 2019) RWC was incredible, them reacing the quoter-final was even more impressive, but their fans was the cherry(blossom) on top, they made the atmosphere alive, even when their team wasn't playing...
