I'm going to say what nobody else will. Lamar doesn't deserve the MVP. He only has 24 Passing TDs and less than 4000 yards and only 5 rushing TDs. Josh Allen has 44 TDs, more yards, broke 3 major records, and had a better statistical season. Jared Goff had over 4500 yards passing and 30 TDs, and led the Lions to the NFC Championship, his 2nd team he has led there. Why didn't he get the MVP? If Lamar Jackson was leading the NFL in TDs by 15, over Brock Purdy, and they gave Brock Purdy the MVP anyway, ppl would absolutely lose their minds and holler racism. But that's exactly how Lamar is winning this MVP. Dak, Goff, Purdy, Allen, and Tua all had better statistical seasons, why does Lamar deserve it more? What did he do this season no other QB didn't do better? If it's about "winning" now, why did Goff get snubbed with better stats? They're giving Lamar a welfare MVP, let's be real. I believe the NFL is trying to build storylines for players like the WWE, so they're driving narratives about certain players to stir up debates and create topics for shows like "First Take", "Undisputed", etc. I mean, look at Nick Wright, he sounds like a plant placed there to piss ppl off by talking trash about other great players and saying they're garbage by comparing the to argueably the best QB ever in Mahomes. I think the are trying to create drama, look at all the headlines now on family speaking out for player relatives bc they're getting tired of their relative who is playing being drug through the mud, now teammates are fighting eachother, the Cowboys are falling apart over narratives and insults. I'm about done watching any ESPN. They've turned the MVP from an award of individual greatness into a political tool to stir controversy, and I hate it.
@@samazon52 it's the truth, can you tell me what Lamar did this season better than any other QB? Has any other player won MVP who wasn't even top 5 statistically in their own position? The MVP is a personal achievement award, I can't think of any personal achievements Lamar had this year that stood out, 0. If they're gonna keep doing this, then make it the "QB on the best team" award.

"I'm going to say what nobody else will."
Dude, lots of other fools are saying what you're saying.
@@samazon52 it's the truth, can you tell me what Lamar did this season better than any other QB? Has any other player won MVP who wasn't even top 5 statistically in their own position? Lamar is the very 1st. Dak, Goff, Tua, Allen, and Purdy all have better statistics. The MVP is a personal achievement award, I can't think of any personal achievements Lamar had this year that stood out, 0. If they're gonna keep doing this, then make it the "QB on the best team" award.
@@samazon52 you think they'd have ever given Brady, Manning, Brees, Mahomes, or any other QB an MVP with only 29 total TDs and less than 4000 passing yards? Hell no.
Touch grass
Lamar fans getting upset over the truth. I don't see one person explaining why he deserves it over Goff, Allen, or the other 3 QBs who outplayed him this year.
