  • Some of the Moscow citizenry are bound to both notice and question the appearance of a few Christian flags around town in June. I had the privilege of moving to town in November 2021. So I am still fairly new to this little northern Idaho hamlet. I have been struck by the charm of this town. While at the same time, I have noticed the fairly widespread presence of-what shall we call them-signs of the left. Not a few Moscovites appear to fly their ethics and politics on the front lawn.
Reformation and Revival is presented by Canon Press.

I agree! We need to celebrate what God has done. A celebration of Life month would be a start. Taking back the rainbow should happen as well. I’m tired of evil abusing what belongs to God! I’ll get my Christian flag out today 🇺🇸✝️

Praise God! More should be stronger in showing their faith. Come out from behind your mothers skirts you lukewarm men and shout from the roof tops your faith in Jesus Christ and denounce the evil that is now celebrated during the month of June.

I don't really have a dog in this fight, but as an agnostic atheist, I applaud and encourage you...for what it's worth. And I must admit, in my 35 years of adult life and atheism - while watching what can only be described as unmistakably evil befalling so many institutions - I've never been closer to believing in God than I am right now.

"I pledge allegiance to the Christian flag, and to the Savior for whose kingdom it stands. One Savior, crucified, risen, and coming again, with life and liberty to all who believe." Look at the words. It's like a catechism of what we believe. In fact, I typed them from memory, which I learned as a child at VBS. I have pledged my life to the Savior described in these words, and actively enjoy saying so out loud. The Christian flag is merely a symbol of His kingdom.

The traditional ‘pride’ flag had 6 colors…6 is the number of man.
Makes sense that it didn’t have 7.

I think we should have shirts made with the rainbow that say “God is faithful, for he cannot deny himself.” The rainbow is ours not theirs, and we shouldn’t relinquish it so easily to them! They wear it as a judgement upon themselves… they are foolish and blind and have no idea how even in their rebellion they glorify God even as they drape themselves in the promise of his faithfulness! For he will do what he said he will do in wrath and in mercy! May they find mercy before it’s too late! Mercy triumphs over judgement and the rainbow is a reminder of all those things!! God is good and does good!

My wife got a shirt at the Ark Encounter that says the true meaning of the rainbow with Gen 9:13
She plans on wearing it to work at some point this month, since they make it a point to hand out the sodomy pride "rainbow" themed garbage.

I have no problem with displaying a Christian flag and would do so myself if I had one. But my memories go back to vacation Bible school in a Baptist culture when we recited a “pledge of allegiance” to it. It just seemed very out of place if not disingenuous to do so, a flag being merely a symbol and pledges being somewhat forbidden as “oaths.”

Jared, the United States of America has been experiencing a steady decline in its Christian values and identity in recent times. This loss of faith and moral compass can be attributed to the Lawless Presbyterian revolt of 1776, which led to the separation of the American colonies from Great Britain. The Presbyterian leaders who led the revolt against the Christian nation of Great Britain did so to pursue personal gain and political power. However, their actions have resulted in the Lawlessness, moral decay and spiritual emptiness that we see in America today. The Presbyterian revolt of 1776 was founded on the principles of personal liberty, and individualism. While these principles sound good on paper, they have had devastating consequences on American society. The separation of church and state that the Presbyterian leaders fought for led to Lawlessness in American society. The rejection of the authority of the Christian monarch of Great Britain led to the rise of individualism and the breakdown of social order in American society. Furthermore, the Presbyterian leaders who led the revolt rejected traditional authority structures and the importance of faith and tradition. This rejection of faith has led to the rise of secular humanism and the rejection of traditional moral values in American culture. This has led to the erosion of the family unit, the rise of relativism and moral decay in American society. The Presbyterian revolt of 1776 has created a spiritual void in American society that has been filled with secularism and a disobeidience of God's Law. The emphasis on personal liberty and individualism has led to the belief that one's personal happiness is the ultimate goal in life. This has led to the rise of materialism, consumerism, and hedonism in American society. The Presbyterian revolt of 1776 is the root cause of the sinkhole of secularism that we see in the United States today. The rebellion was founded on the principles of individualism, personal liberty, and freedom from oppression, but its unintended consequences have led to the decline of traditional Christian values, the erosion of authority structures, and the rise of secularism and Lawlessness. In conclusion, the Presbyterian revolt of 1776 has had a profound impact on American society and has contributed to the Lawlessness, spiritual emptiness and moral decay that we see in the United States today. As Christians, we must recognize the dangers of individualism and personal liberty and strive to uphold Biblical Law in our society. May we always remember the importance of faith and tradition in our lives and in our society. Repent of the Presbyterian evolt of 1776!

I disagree. The rise of this Secularist dumpster fire of an experiment are not due to the philosophy of the founding fathers. Aside from the fact that it has affected virtually every right wing Republic on the planet at some point (including the late Roman Republic who’s general historical footsteps we seem to follow very closely) and every time it looses. Even in centerist or left wing nations it inevitably looses. Look at Spain. Look at Rome. Look at a myriad of others. This period is to be expected and now, in God’s perfect timing it’s actually starting to be pushed back. It took decades upon decades to get to this level and now the everything the secularists and progressives have worked for may well fall apart in a decade tops. And by it’s own nature no less (it inevitably pushes further and further into objective insanity and chaos all the while being too prideful and arrogant to see when it’s loosing support) . I can’t think of a more just judgment on a philosophy than that. It happened like that in Spain too. The left in all it’s Godlessness rose up, assumed they had the country on their side…and then got squashed by the nationalists who’s numbers only surged more when the leftists killed Christians and desecrated churches.
Secularism, in our time as in even the Roman Republics, involves straying from founding principles and philosophies. It is not caused by those principles but rebellion, revolution, against them. And it ends the same way every time.
And before you mention the communists, I’d like to point out how fascistic most communist countries are. Communism only succeeds in taking over in underdeveloped (primarily eastern) countries. And there it becomes philosophically and politically center-left paternal authoritarianism. In Western or more developed countries nations the same thing manifests as fascism (see Germany, Italy, South American nations like Chile and Argentina).

You are a windbag! Lol…the ‘Christian Monarch’ of Great Britain? I know you’re referring to King George III (hardly a godly man), but how about we discuss moral decay and degradation in GB today? Under the new ‘Christian Monarch’ Charles! Friend of Klaus Schwab, George Soros, Bill Gates, etc…WEF member…you think moral rot and degradation started at the founding of the USA? Back up pal! Look to Kant, Descartes, etc…look back a few years earlier…in a garden in the Middle East…go back to slavishly licking Francis’ boots!
