Serves the right for hating on the British tourists. I know there are a few disgraceful British tourists but the majority are hard working folk, spending their money in Spain, seeking a bit of sun.
They constantly try and persuade passers by in to their establishments, offering large quantities of alcohol. They pick on the British, who use the restaurants and coffee shops, whilst the other nationalities are every bit as drunk and bring their own food with them and/or buy from supermarkets. Already some Greek islands are losing much of their revenue.

I ramember from the 70’s when all Scandinavian youth dreamed of a language trip to Torquay Bay over the summer. What happened to all that, because recent reports say the English riviera is dead now?
There’s a broad frustration with the push for electric vehicles (EVs) and other green technologies that many believe aren’t living up to the promises made about them. The perception is that these initiatives are unraveling traditional supply chains and making everyday life more difficult, all for the sake of an agenda that doesn’t resonate with the lived experiences of most people.
First time went to France, Perpignan South coast, instead of always holidays in Spain. Better than we expected and shall tour Brittany next. Bye bye Spain.
France is nice. But much more expensive than Spain. Im not far from Perpignan. The prices on the coast are hideous compared to just over the border in Spain. Even the French near the French Spanish border go to Spain for shopping or a meal and day out. Yes it might be a bit different for them but if you ask them why it's because France is a lot more expensive.
Love the comment about the Madrid people. Same thing happens in Gran Canaria when the Las Palmas people come down to the south. Mum comes down with her car and the kids. The kids run riot in the apartment blocks until 1 or 2 in the morning, then dad turns up at the weekend in his car so that’s the car park full. Happy days 😉
I live in the Canary Islands and there is no doubt the immigration situation is overwhelming I agree but to say we are on the verge of collapse is a political ploy. Something has got to be sorted with the Spanish Government in the Madrid but Pedro Sanchez really enjoyed his holiday here!
Lived there for 12 years seeing the economic crisis take its toll on small businesses, then increased illegal migration ramping up. Had a great little business in property management and maintenance. Moved back home a couple of years before the pandemic thing, left the business to my employees. They ruined it within 12 months! Sold up everything and will never go back there again.
In Ireland the sales of EVs is down by 15% on 2023. Try selling a secand hand EV, and you will be in for an unpleasant shock. 🚗 Always enjoy your videos Stu, excellent job. 👍
Great video Stuart, get yourself an air fryer, you won’t look back, and that point the lady made about it not heating up the entire room is very valid, and for anyone with bad knees, you won’t miss being like the Indian rubber man trying to clean a pesky olde oven. 😂
Half the second homes in Chiclana de la Frontera are owned by Madrileños. They are not too well liked here but they do spend a lot in the local economy.
It is no surprise that sales of electric vehicles is slow in Spain. The Government has been pushing the "Moves" grant scheme but failing miserably to pay out! I live in Tenerife and been waiting well over 2 years for the subvençion of €5k. I understand that 114 applications have been correctly filed and accepted....but only 5 applicants have received their money.
Absolutely true the air fryer does not heat up the kitchen like the big oven. However I have a small air fryer only good for one or two person portions.
Have visited almost all big cities in Europe, prefer smaller villages to really understand the countries culture. Big city people seem more similar between countries than the smaller city people!
Humans were not created to live in big cities. Big cities are very expensive and crowded and, as such, deprive people of nature and make people aggressive, angry and closed-off; however politicos and oligarchs love them because they are a more efficient vehicle for extracting tax money and wealth from the populous. Welcome to mouse utopia.
I know several people who have been to Lanzo recently and they all said migrants aren't a problem there, and didn't see any crime and very few migrants were visible at all. So I don't know which story is correct.
Regards the subject of children and the declining birth rate. Many people choose to have only one child (I dislike the term KID) without considering that he or she will have go through a difficult period in time when their parents are elderly and infirm.
I got a Cecotec multipot airfryer thing. It's amazing and restored my enthusiams for cooking. Thank god I never use the oven - kept forgetting to turn it off and no more cleaning it.
Your viewer mentioned replacing his/her kitchen oven with an air fryer, for me this is not the best option. I find the air fryer is too small and is too hard to clean, like the traditional kitchen oven (cleaning the old oven must be the worst job in the house). Instead I would replace the kitchen oven with a turbo oven, ie: the big glass bowl with the glass lid that has the heating element and forced air fan. That big glass bowl can fit a full roast and the veg for a family and the glass bowl fits into my kitchen sink making it relatively easy to clean, I note (online) that they are generally cheaper than air fryers.
Well just tell them not to come to the UK , they won't like it here ,it gets EXTREMELY cold in the winter. They will be much happier in their warmer climate!!
Golden age for whom. Definitely not for the people of Spain as that money is not being used to make important improvements that will lower the cost of housing.
My experience of ruining an EV in Spain over the last two years and also speaking to a few people that bought a new car, could have bought an EV but chose petrol, is the need for more 'slow chargers'. These are the charging points for overnight, while you're at work, in the cinema etc. They are MUCH cheaper and easier to install but need cooperation of Ayuntamientos and so on to add more on-street (especially) facilities. If you can only do on-street parking, EVs are awkward - charging only at fast chargers is uneconomical and not scalable.
But EV,s are not environmental in any way shape or form. Plus they use child slavery in many instances to mine the cobalt. But don't worry about that you can virtue signal how special you are.
Just take them back its insane, watched a documentary from last year covering migrant boats ,its got 10 times worse.her in the uk evs are way too expensive, yhe chinese evs are far superior and a third of the price.spain needs to be careful over british tourists, dont believe the yanks are going to spain in any discernable numbers.most americans have never been abroad.the stats dont add up.
What makes me laugh is the first 50yrs of tourism on in the Canaries was cash in hand so one for the till and one for the back pocket, so some of the Canarians shouting against tourists who spend money in favour of illegal immigrants who take money keep forgetting a lot of the better off families on these wonderful islands were brought up on tax evasion and brown envelopes and you turn a blind eye at that, Don't Bite The Hand That Feeds You, have ago at your own who make's the money.
You need to look at Russian interference in Spanish 🇪🇸 politics to harm Spanish interests. The recent spate of anti tourism protests have been stoked by Russian bot farms. Russia has been using these methods to harm European country’s to get citizens to vote against their interests. Brexit in the U.K. 🇬🇧 is an example of the harm it causes to so chaos and division.
I was in Vietnam last year. Travelling up on the bus to Thailand I was gobsmacked at the number of petrol stations every few kilometres, and every second one had EV charging facilities!
@juliekitching. No ,it's not something we have to put up with. Government's need to do something to stop illegals. It needs to be done before the masses really do lose patience and start taking the law into their own hands .
@harry130747 Harry, I understand from my comment your reply to me. Firstly, you're right! What is the life of a battery? I owned a power tool shop for many years, so I know batteries better than many. I personally would never own an electric car using today's tech. I would never buy second hand anything that uses a battery. I live in Queensland, Australia, where the sun pumps hard. My house has solar panels connected to a battery bank. My house has A/C, elec heating & pool pump & my bills are so low that 'yes' I will get more than my money back over the 10yr life of the system. But this is THE exception to that rule
Spain has no more money, unless they raise the taxes. Or ask another few billions to the EU. Or stop paying pensions, to those that don’t deserve it. At the end, the result is that the European Canarians will leave the island.
Oh no not more electric cars the people who live near power generator stations like down the valley of Jinamar generating the power have enough respiratory issues from the chimmenys and the so called renewable energy put together only single figure percent contribution.
I'm just wandering what the position is in Spain regarding neglected land. On the 24th of June an orchard that has not been worked on for several years and is very close to houses went on fire. Because the land is neglected the vegitiaon is very dry and on the 28th it cought fire again. I beleive that if the bushes and vegitation was cut down this would prevent any future fires. My question is, can the owner be forced to do this as yesterday even a helicopter had to come out.
Given the mountainous landscape, at least here on Gran Canaria, I'm not sure electric vehicles are a good idea. Even my Nissan 2.3D Deisel van has to drop down into second gear to get up a lot of them
I drive an electric car for Uber, the price of electricity if you know where to charge is 10% of diesel or petrol so in about half a year the difference in price is recovered. The absence of maintenance and reliability are advantageous But if you travel a lot or you don't have a lot of time, charging can be a nuisance or expensive, defeating the purpose
Your electricity is cheap because EVERYBODY that doesn't own an EV subsidizes your usage. Once everybody is charging at home everyone's rates (driver or not) are going to soar through the roof. In the US California was telling people NOT to charge their car in the summer of 2022 because it was overwhelming the grid due to home AC use. That situation hasn't gotten any better.
Guess all those looking for properties in Spain and the Cannareis is fastly turning into a right nightmare. And while all thinking the only concerning danger would be volcanic. A real fools paradise now, aye! Oh.. And the part about ".. minors... " didn't go noticed... As we've all come to understand it that's simply code for young adults of fighting age!!
The price of new and second hand electric vehicles is comparable to all but the very bottom of the petrol/diesel second hand market. Although recent EU tarriffs on Chinese EVs that protect legacy auto manufacturing don't help us meet our environmental targets.
I was living in the canaries at the turn of the century and illegal migration from Africa was already a problem then with the increase in crime that followed.

I ramember from the 70’s when all Scandinavian youth dreamed of a language trip to Torquay Bay over the summer. What happened to all that, because recent reports say the English riviera is dead now?
Got a crime problem in Torquay.
Drug problems and homelessness in all the seaside towns
Torquay is now a pit
I was not a cook, but with the air fryer and a slow cooker (as a retiree I can wait) I have become one!
A bit noisy for me, the air fryer .
Before you buy an air fryer look at ninja grill that is a grill, air fryer, and a smoker in one, it is one of the best buy ever did
There’s a broad frustration with the push for electric vehicles (EVs) and other green technologies that many believe aren’t living up to the promises made about them.
The perception is that these initiatives are unraveling traditional supply chains and making everyday life more difficult, all for the sake of an agenda that doesn’t resonate with the lived experiences of most people.
".. verge of collapse due to the influx of migrants."
I thought the tourists were the problem?
You don’t want EV’s anyway they’re a load of crap! All these people buying them will regret it soon just wait and see!
Thank you for the information. Have a great week.
In Ireland the sales of EVs is down by 15% on 2023. Try selling a secand hand EV, and you will be in for an unpleasant shock. 🚗 Always enjoy your videos Stu, excellent job. 👍
You should be buying a second hand EV, not selling!
@harry130747
EVs will soon be obsolete, as Toyota are on the cusp of bringing a water engine car to the market. 🚗
Reminds me of the government scam around solar panels, offering subvenciones left, right and centre. Very few got them.
Careful of what you wish for!!!!
Well it will like Africa very soon.
Well just tell them not to come to the UK
, they won't like it here ,it gets EXTREMELY cold in the winter. They will be much happier in their warmer climate!!
Yep. But send em to Scotland. They won’t like the climate and they won’t understand the lingo. Lots of space there.
It's only people who make financial contributions that support a channel.......
Golden age for whom. Definitely not for the people of Spain as that money is not being used to make important improvements that will lower the cost of housing.
the world is angry & aggressive because narcissism & NPD are off the charts now, it’s narcissistic rage ( eg Karen rage; entitlement )
When you can find a parking in Tenerife🫣🫣
I live in a pueblo on the CDS and there isn’t a single ev charging point.
I can believe it!!
I was in Vietnam last year. Travelling up on the bus to Thailand I was gobsmacked at the number of petrol stations every few kilometres, and every second one had EV charging facilities!
Anybody know what a minor would be? This happened on mexico American boarder and thousands of kids went missing
EV's making headway...ha ha ha ha ha ha
just same in Britain everything happening in spain also happening here and all over the world something we av 2 put up with 😒
@juliekitching. No ,it's not something we have to put up with. Government's need to do something to stop illegals. It needs to be done before the masses really do lose patience and start taking the law into their own hands .

An electric car needs to be coupled with solar array is a no brainer, but without solar panels is dumb.
Solar panels are a no-brainer, but ppl I know of charge their cars overnight. The real no-brainer is having the panels connected to a battery
@@originalsusser No-0ne is saying what the life of a battery is. Will you ever get your money back?
@harry130747 Harry, I understand from my comment your reply to me. Firstly, you're right! What is the life of a battery? I owned a power tool shop for many years, so I know batteries better than many. I personally would never own an electric car using today's tech. I would never buy second hand anything that uses a battery. I live in Queensland, Australia, where the sun pumps hard. My house has solar panels connected to a battery bank. My house has A/C, elec heating & pool pump & my bills are so low that 'yes' I will get more than my money back over the 10yr life of the system. But this is THE exception to that rule
Lowered ocean levels! Who knew!
Strange why Stalagtube deleted my warning of a man made eruption /collapse in the next two months
In Florida, the air fryer uses a tremendous amount of electricity which shows up in the electric bill
Air fryer uses far less electricity than a conventional oven
@@Joe-lb8qn when we used it; it made up close to half of our electric bill
An air fryer will use more than gas oven, only save if your cooking for 1 or 2 people and have electric oven.
Could someone explain to me how “African Migrants” end up in Tenerife? Did they take a wrong turn in the sea somewhere?
Airfryers are great. We only use the old oven for things that are too big (rare for us). Much healthier than frying in seed-based oils, too.
Given the mountainous landscape, at least here on Gran Canaria, I'm not sure electric vehicles are a good idea. Even my Nissan 2.3D Deisel van has to drop down into second gear to get up a lot of them
spain is not your country so why worry about and wherever you come from is not your country either
Most city folks are weird they don’t grasp the world. How can you live in a concrete jungle if things go south.
In 2008 I was for holiday in Benidorm. Since then i have not returned & will not do so in the future.either... There is no future in Spain..
I drive an electric car for Uber, the price of electricity if you know where to charge is 10% of diesel or petrol so in about half a year the difference in price is recovered. The absence of maintenance and reliability are advantageous
But if you travel a lot or you don't have a lot of time, charging can be a nuisance or expensive, defeating the purpose
Plus you will get a hit when you need a new one.
Well this One hás done 204000 Km .at 0,49€ minimum a km its paid for.
It’s just some shitty islands that I couldn’t give a toss to visit
If you paid more money, the locals would do the jobs. Importing cheap labour leads to wage suppression.
The Holiday makers will go elsewhere
Asylum denied deport
The price of new and second hand electric vehicles is comparable to all but the very bottom of the petrol/diesel second hand market. Although recent EU tarriffs on Chinese EVs that protect legacy auto manufacturing don't help us meet our environmental targets.
I was living in the canaries at the turn of the century and illegal migration from Africa was already a problem then with the increase in crime that followed.
Your impartial reporting regarding immigration and other "contentious" topics is a breath of fresh air compared to the polarised views expressed here in the UK. Well done Stuart, your humanity shines through 🙏
Get a grip. Illegal Immigration will make Spain poorer.
@@stewartgrant9832 so easy to blame all the problem on immigration...believe me there are a lot of other factors that contribute and Spain needs to address.
Go woke go broke

When is Europe gonna help the countries in Africa which are producing all there economic migrants. First get them birth control. Second build factories there for jobs. Build coastal resorts. Jobs! Next, teach them about building a national education system and a stable government!
That only works with certain cultures. Usually Western.
@@Treblaholland Well if it doesn’t work with other cultures, why do people from these cultures flood into our cultures looking for it??? See the irony of your statement?
