- The first video-model I ever made is outdated at best and garbage at worst. So, at popular request, I have recreated this model from the ground up but whilst following the same rules. Enjoy!

I gotta be honest, I didn't watched the original video. So you could say I've already followed your wish at the start of this video, you're welcome :D
Anyway this looks very good, especially for being single models that in your style aren't supposed too be too much high fantasy-esque (I've learned about high fantasy and low fantasy on the Derfscord btw XD). I particularly like the Good Guy one.
As you said, moving aside weird constructions or glitches, the best thing about double-modelling it's cloth layering. On single models it's so harsh to obtain fresh things… I think mostly due to so many pieces on the top chest layer have sleeves as well, so that the bottom layer it's meaningless. A good innovation would be the ability to enable/hide the sleeves on all the chest items.

It will probably be a few more days before my next video drops as I have taken a lot of time this week to plan out and record some larger upcoming guides, which takes me a bit more time than a week to make, but when they DO drop it will be worth the wait hopefully

I have a D&D Group that I'd love to get miniatures for but I'm not quite sure I can use HF to the standard I would be happy with quite yet!
I have done it in the past and I've been debating openly advertising that I do it as well, but I haven't gotten around to that yet. Hi, I am a bit newbie on Hero Forge and I am struggling with VFX. Do you have any advice on creating ray effects coming out of someone hand? I used the ray item but its looks too plastic and I don't know how to make it look amazing, do u have any idea?
Honestly ray effects is a weird one. It depends on if you'd want them to be seethrough or not. Fundamentally most things in Heroforge need to look like big physical printable objects, so magic spells would be your best bet in that regard- but you could possibly just toy around with lighting and making the invisible bulbs bright to a point where you can maybe convey the illusion of rays without there really being any
@@Derfholm Thank you for your answer! Yes, I begun playing around with the blue and yellowish "item" that you can equip in the characters hand. And i've been modifying its colors a bit, but I didn't manage any great results yet.
I am curious about the other features you mention, are those premium only? Because I didn't find them before

When the new longswords came out, did you go back and change the swords you gave this model? If I remember correctly, you don’t like this base sword that much.
