@@Corn-ped Audio sometimes dips, probably because you're a bit further from the camera? I use GoPro POV stuff on my videos so I have the opposit problem. You can hear me breathe sometimes 🤣
@@VintageGarageYT yeah I m using an expensive shot gun mic and I actually don't like it. I had a cheap one before that was way better. The audi is the hardest part.
question! my kit is leaking around the bottom of the base gasket. my kit came with two different base gaskets. one thinner and the other thicker. i applied two stroke oil onto the gasket before installing. everything is torqued to spec. what would you suggest i do? i have ultra grey permatex but i’m not sure how necessary that is. stack the gaskets? idk.
Hey I have the 70cc Airsal kit that I just slapped on my maxi. It runs. My only question is it seems like the piston doesn’t retract back far enough to open the intake port up. Maybe my understanding is off but wouldn’t this not be able to run if that’s the case?
On a two-stroke piston port engine the Piston skirt raises above the intake port and the mix goes into the bottom of the crankcase and then up into the cylinder through the transfers. The Piston does not go lower than the intake port.
@@Corn-ped ok, thanks for responding. I am going from stock 38 to 45 and the piston fills the engine in a totally different way, when I spin the fly wheel it’s a much different sensation, lots a compression when the piston reaches the head and I wasn’t sure if maybe the assembly lube wasn’t too tacky.
@@Corn-ped that’s what I figured! Just don’t wanna get it all put back together and discover I’ve screwed the pooch! Thanks a lot for your videos, you’ve been a big help.

Wish I had this video the first time I did a kit haha. Would have saved me a lot of trouble.
Same here! I have done so many and there are so many little tricks.

Lol yes I did. Good catch

I would check the mating surfaces for any scratches. You can use the thicker gasket or cost the gasket in copper spray for ultimate sealing.
Love big bores. Wanting to take my Lifan 125 to a 143. My Honda passport c70 went from 70cc to now nearly 100
Get that Daytona 190

What type of oil are you using to lube the piston and chamber? Does it matter? Should I use assembly oil or simply some 2 stroke?
I am using assembly Lube but using two stroke oil works just as good

It probably has a lot more compression than your old piston!

I got the same kit. Was there no porting or case matching required? Any info would be appreciated it’s my first time
this is a really basic kit. If you want to take it to the max you should Port match and case match. But you do not need to no.
Are able to link the kit you purchased?
www.treatland.tv/puch-70cc-cylinder-treat-kit-p/puch-treat-kit-70cc-the-people.htm this is the kit!
Where do you get your parts and stuff is there like a good website
