The way it seems the Konpaku thing works is that depleting the Reishi gauge at all is 1 Konpaku. So at baseline, you're always taking 1 off, then using a super is 2, meaning if you super there you're taking off the baseline 1, plus those 2 for a total of 3. The four seems to be a thing with ultimates, if you use that instead of a super, you get 3 from it, and 1 from the baseline, making it 4
Bleach is one of the first anime that my older cousin introduced to me as a kid. I went back to read it all before the TYBW anime, and ended up loving it again. I'm hyped AF that we're getting another game for the series
I think the Konpaku system is based on the transformation stage you're at in the battle. Like they show, Ichigo in his shikai could take 3 after depleting Byakuya's reishi bar; but after getting his Bankai he was able to get 4. At one point you can also see the purpose of the bars at the bottom, the one on the top seems to be for special moves, and the lower one for movement and the REVERSE mechanic -looks like either a mode for extra dmg or one for healing. Also yes Deion you should watch the new season, Thousand Year Blood War. Its getting to its 3rd season and so far its been fire bro, mostly the 1st Cour was exceptional imo. Maybe you could ask to do a Watch Party? it was on Disney+ or Hulu I think? But yeah it was so good
They said something after the Konpaku system when Ichigo first hit him with that special 'finisher', I'm guessing if you time it right you can give up some of your meter bar to deplete multiple Konpaku bars, normally I guess it would just be the two highlighted at once.

I would prefer this too, because that means you have the option to spend bar to take multiple at once, or maybe just beat their reishi bar without a super so you save your bar for the next round, maybe to exactly win the game after using it, or for other strategies. I know this trailer didn't give us much insight to that, but I feel like the pacing of battle would seem either very long or very choppy (depending on the speed of Reishi that gets depleted)

I'm going to assume normal attacks take away 1 stock 3. The more stocks you lose, the stronger you get - awakenings, stronger moves, maybe access to more moves It seems like the game is built upon comebacks instead

People on the release video were saying this looks like a wack low budget game and that CC2 should be the ones in charge of it. Like brothers, this looks far cleaner than the Hunter x Hunter game which is an actual budget title. And CC2 games lately have been questionable when it comes to gameplay so I'm very much interested in the approach this studio is taking.

Sweet, hadn't realized you were a Bleach fan. I hopped back and forth between anime and manga up to Aizen, slept on it for a while, then came back when the manga started showing off a Quincy army. As for how the health/konpaku thing works, it seemed to me that Shikai attacks did 3 damage, while the Bankai did 4. It's certainly an interesting way to go about a health bar. Although I'm curious if you can deal damage with "normal" attacks. Thanks for the video Deion! Was saving it for a bad day, and the video helped a little.
Bro I’m hype for this game. Bleach was one of the first animes I watched and I loved it, but I didn’t know what filler was at the time and got burnt out. Some years later I picked it back up (skipping filler this time lol) and loved it. TYBW has been amazing so far too. Was disappointed when I saw the most recent games were just mobile games so seeing a full fledged console/PC game come out is super exciting!
YEEAAAAA! The game feels like Heat of Soul but redone massively. I really love this unique "Health Bar" system and it's insane! I HOPE this is a full on retelling of the Bleach series before or possible after TYBW. This will be a fun game! We need to get videos on this.
If you didn't know the composer they got for this game worked on crisis core FF7, FFX, kingdom hearts and The world ends with you so he's goated. And even though we can't speak for sure yet how good its gonna be this trailer gave us nothing to worry about. If you did watch until the end of the aizen fight and you wanna resume then you stopped at either 309, 310 or 342. So when you carry on you wanna start at 310, 342 or 343 depending on what the last episode you watched was. Then once you finish 366 which is the last ep of the old anime you can move straight on to TYBW anime which is the new season.
As a Bleach fan i can say that the game is looking like to have a story mode to "replace" the original anime, and finally do justice to the manga. Btw, if you're reading this Deion, i don't reccomend the original anime that much because of alterations it had that deviates from the orginal material. This game has potencial no to just be good on its own, but also to make justice with the manga

I'm so hype for this game. I love bleach. As for catching up, you could do Watchalong streams. Where you watch the episodes and have a timestamp of the episode you're on so people watching the stream can watch with you. It's something I've seen some streamers do, tho mostly for movies.

From what I see, its a point-based health system and depending on how you KO your opponent will depend on how many points your opponent loses. The OST will be top tier. I think that the roster will likely be near 38-42 characters and that there will be characters in the story mode but not as playable in the base roster (like Kon, Grand Fisher or Shrieker while Ganju and/or Don Kanonji will be the goofy characters in the base roster). Can't wait to see how Tamsoft will integrate the transformations and certain abilities in the gameplay. I'm really glad that the game will have local multiplayer too.
Okay so I think I can explain health bars easily. I think by Ko-ing your opponent normally. It takes 1 bar. Of you Ko your opponent with say a level 1 or a super. 2 bars. And if you finish them with an ultimate it's 3 bars. Entering different awakenings I assume would change your combat/move animations so this may actually be really JUICED
Visually it's looking crispy clean and just beautiful general aesthetics too. Love to see it. Can't wait to use all types of bankais and resurreccions in this game.
I think the way it works if you damage your enemy enough to take a bar of reshi you have a chance to land an ultimate to take extra bars of reshi. I think going into the bankai form allows you to take even more reshi because byakuya took an extra bar when he had his bankai out and had a chance to reduce extra reshi. Ichigo also reduces byakuya by 4 when he has bankai and reduces byakuya reshi again

Bleach has been on the back burner for a while. For it to come back to the gaming market like this reawakens my hype for the series.
I’ve recently got into bleach so glad some bleach content might come to the Chanel very hype .

I think the way it works if you damage your enemy enough to take a bar of reshi you have a chance to land an ultimate to take extra bars of reshi. I think going into the bankai form allows you to take even more reshi because byakuya took an extra bar when he had his bankai out and had a chance to reduce extra reshi. Ichigo also reduces byakuya by 4 when he has bankai and reduces byakuya reshi again
I hope this game is good and it sells well. We need Bleach back in our lives.
