ou can access information via e- mail. My parents did a geneaological european 6week trip that I read lots of tour books about the countries they'd be going to. Wow what a difference between tour books. So with those dates was able to contact cities, counties, etc. via e-mail I listed my e-mail address as well as snail mail, being 2003, plus my phone number. I was amazed at how many places called me, on the phone, to give info then sent snail mail pakages also. I was able in England and Scotland to have direct info to both my Mom & Dad that was pulled in their genealogical
      parts of the county offices.
On my Dad was able to have docs from the mid 1600's pulled. The brothers kept going back & forth like the QEll.
So you'd be best to do some preliminary genealogy here and go thru info at Salt Lake City, Mormon church has extensive genealogy information from all over the world.

Yes indeed the 12th. There is more to be known of her. It takes a bit of digging. But being in England and having access to some source material at the British Library was much to my advantage. Starkey is very persuasive in his arguments, but, in my opinion, not altogether correct.
There is a reported picture of "Jane" at Sion House. Discovery after some renovations. It is small though somewhat extraordinary as it isn't too complimentary. Having read so many source and translated materials, the various descriptions of Jane vary somewhat. But by these one can bring a full picture to mind.
      Best wishes.

She was considered very good looking and called the Queen of Hearts...very scholarly and smart at books. She did not want her political marriage and may have been pregnant as well. I think the painting looks like hack art but you are great with your skills and love your channel....thanks so much.

This is so amazing seeing them come to life. Jane Grey wasn't my direct ancestor but Edith "Ida" de Grey was. Maybe you can make her come to life? That would be amazing. ❤

Bravo! Lady Jane's transformation is a kick compared to the original image. In fact Lady Jane's countenance resembles a girls of similar age that used to live next door to me many years ago. I kid you not. Like a living, breathing person, and when you make her smile I shed a tear. So compelling. Enjoyed the commentary and it makes me feel sad Lady Jane was beheaded. But I say she is a martyr and as a Protestant myself she inspires me for her fortitude and strength and her conviction.

her story is so sad, for her time she was in an amazing young woman, fiercely intelligent and strong-willed refusing the crown and refusing to crown Dudly as king. and her admirable, strong and dignigied behavior at her execution, she would have been an excellent queen no matter how she got there, but she was used as a pawn to her power-hungry father in law and father both of whom abandonded her at the first sign of Mary raising support for her claim to the throne, I finf her story even more tragic in some ways than some of Henry's wives

Your re-creation portraits really come alive when they start smiling. Seeing her smile, it made me cry a bit. This poor girl was only 16-17 when she was executed, so young.... Imagine, one of your high school friends meeting an end like hers for political reasons beyond their control. So sad.

Tragic, so tragic. Humans are the most brutal and sadistic form of life. No animal would do such a horrible deed. It is truly sickening what they did back then to people who did nothing to deserve it.

Yet another life story exemplifying how women (and in many cases, such as this one, girls) were used as pawns in the games of powerful men. Of all of the executions that took place throughout the Tudor reign, hers is the most disgraceful and tragic. Once again, you’ve done a beautiful job telling her story and recreating her image.
