This kit is hands down the best HG ever made in my opinion. It's super under rated. This thing is solid as a rock and poses like a God damn beast. There is no pose this thing can not do. It's an amazing kit.
What Great build, I just bought mine and looking for vid building this kit. I'm a bit disappointed tho cauz you didn't show the process how you put some details to the kit specially to Shield, Head, chest, and Foot part but overall I'm satisfied at least I got ideas where should I detailed the kit just need to see how to actually do it.

While the Revive line was revolutionary for HG I think that the 00 line was kind of the experimental phase. Like you said the 00 still stands up against modern kits and I think that the 00 was the first kit to introduce some new joint designs like the universal hip joint. I also believe that the HGUC RX-78 Revive was based on the HG 0 Gundam.

I know this is old, but did you ever do anything to fix the fact the hands don't do a good job of holding the gun and saber?
Just a tiny bit of tack in the hands did the trick. You can hide it in the cavity in the back of the hand so it's not too visible.
