Us console gamers don't check chat because usually PC players feel entitled and obligated to say everything they think or do and we just don't want those thoughts in are head. Edit: Let me clarify. Its easier for PC players to have easier access to chat which causes a noticeable large amount of keyboard warriors and will immediately spam chat with bs things or unneeded aggression over every small detail.

I remember a time when I was on an open map in the 8.8cm flak truck and only had a gunner and driver left, my engine gone and everything, and an enemy R3 T20 comes flying out a Bush and sits next to me, and spares me. He just chilled next to me shooting planes until the match ended. I didn't dare move after repairing and never turned the gun in his direction.
