I think the reason the new black series Phase 1 helmet looks like how it is is because, in the Ahsoka series with the flashbacks of the Clone Wars, the clone Phase 1 helmet is a combination of Attack of the Clones and The Clone Wars
A basic blue Arc trooper is needed Vintage Collection got one but we need one and do him right. I would like to see an another two pack with both versions of phase 1 and phase 2 but give us extra heads bald would be perfect and different weapons
Funko also named their 501st clone a Lieutenant… I think this is a script-type situation where they just called those clones with blue markings Lieutenants to distinguish the costume and not as an actual canonical truth. But since they make these toys so fast, they just went straight to the concepts directly 1:1 (and early concept art based toys aren’t anything new for toys and especially Star Wars). It isn’t a big deal but it is definitely frustrating to the nerds like us.
during the time it was set in the clones of the 501st disnt all paint there armour yet you can see it in the clone wars movie the ones painted are sergeants / liuetenats
@@HeadHunterKillCounts I think it remember reading that part of the lore with the few blue 501st clones early on being sergeants and Lieutenant on Wookieepedia but I can’t remember if it was JUST legends or not
I mean, on a technicality this phase 1 trooper COULD be a lieutenant because these markings were used by veteran troopers and officers within the 501st, but in this case it's definitely just a mess up with the naming on Hasbro's part.
Surprised you didn’t compare the Phase 1 501st with the old Clone Wars version that would’ve been ironic since most modern fans these days would be like: wait there were Phase 1 501st’s prior to Ahsoka???>3
Literally the *ONLY* thing the old 332nd helmet has over the new one is the sloppier orange paint being more accurate Tis' bloody disgusting otherwise, glad they re-did him (now please give us my boy Captain Vaughn)
My guess is they named it the Lieutenant is because the 501st troopers never looked like that in phase 1. IIRC, the only ones who had blue were the named troopers, and the rest were the generic all white.
A few of the grunt P1 501st troopers did look like this in TCW but they very rarely showed up in the show. The only time I recalled that multiples of this design appeared were mainly in deleted scenes for S2 of TCW where a crap ton were shown to be preparing for an occupation of Mandalore in the arc that the Dutchess was framed
Phase 1 501st troopers with these markings appeared numerous times throughout the seasons of the Clone Wars, they were just often very hard to spot because they were background clones and the blue was often very faded. They appeared in the Clone Wars movie, Landing at Point Rain, Weapons Factory, Grievous Intrigue, Duchess of Mandalore, and deleted scenes for Duchess of Mandalore.
They're clones, of course their faces are the same? lol It's actually $5 less than if they'd be sold individually, and clones are fundamentally all just the same in different colors. I dunno what you're going on about.
@@Jcc2224 My bad, I didn't explain what I meant by the faces are the same. I mean that they could've at least had different expressions or tattoos. At my target it was $60!
It's funny that this is technically (just going by the name) Hasbro's second attempt at a Phase I lieutenant and neither of them actually look like a Phase I lieutenant lmao. The first ones colors were way too dark and this one just has the straight up wrong design.
It’s nice to see black series clones coming with at least two blasters. Let’s hope the trend continues.
The Phase 2 Plain white, Appo, and this new 332nd are on a new 2023 Clone body with a new phase 2 helmet! Such an amazing sculpt!
Oh hey Lukeness didn’t know you tuned into JCC2224 every once and awhile:3👋👋
Two of my favorite clone designs. The more Hasbro makes like these, the more I get. I cannot stop

I never heard of that preorder price mishap! Now I wish I preordered stuff more lol
I think we all know what we want from the phase 1. We need 212 repaints and 41st repaints and corosaunt guards in the clone wars style now
I really hope we get a Vaughn
Got this pack this morning. Pretty neat pack. Glad that two packs are coming back in general
I’m hoping we get a phase 1 Rex soon, I need it bro!!
That pack is just sick! Probably my favorite clone troopers figures so far and I called my phase 1 Charger even though it's not the same shade of blue
"where is the clone lieutenant ? " well he is defiantly not here. only the OGs remembers the long wait for a lieutenant .
Inwas strolling through target, got the the hasbro star was section, saw they had one and immediately grabbed it, no regrets happy with my purchase
I normally don’t army build black series but this set is so damn good that I bought 4 and hope to grab more in the future.
FOUR?!?!?!?! 💀💀💀
Yup! These are fantastic 😊
MORE CLONES ❤❤❤
Man we need a Re-release of Captain Rex, and an Ahsoka version would be perfect
These do look awesome can’t lie💙🧡
they need more detail for the price ngl

I like the 332-nd helmet, perfect mold of Clone Wars.
However…
Where is the RotS helmet, Hasbro?
One grip. The appo clone had two up and down hands, but the rest of the clones on the new body only have the right up and down hand

This is the first pack i need to have since the jet trooper.
The pack goes hard but feel like it shoulda been a phase 1&2 501st pack
&
A 332nd trooper & a mauldalorian 2 pack
Still waiting on mine cause it got pushed back a week 😢 THEY LOOK AWESOME THO!!!

Hey J4 I’m having a hard time looking for this two pack
Is the old clone lieutenant shorter than the new p1 501st?
4:35

I can't get these until July in Australia... 💀
Ŵōŵ ßō ċōōł!
Hey J4 are you excited for Transformers one?
100000% yes
Literally the *ONLY* thing the old 332nd helmet has over the new one is the sloppier orange paint being more accurate

Is now a weird time to tell you that I managed to get the plain white Phase 1 Clone on the 2023 mould before this set?
Please Hasbro keep this up
None of them are a lieutenant because they are light blue.
Yo

They...did, though? This is the canonical Phase I 501st design.
They didn't appear quite as often as just plain white troopers but they were there.
Coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool!
this pack is a scam
Care to elaborate?
@@Jcc2224 the faces are the same, it's overpriced, there's nothing else different besides the 501st markings.
