MG has done it, good pricing, loaded, well built car, design is very . Idk if im i only one feeling , it looks like a mini GLA . Interiors are top notch. Im planning to buy this car, hope they add those missing things like auto dimming rear view mirror and ventilated seats
Was really keen on buying Taigun or Kushaq. But Astor seems to have outperformed in all departments. Yes, Auto dimming IRVM is a bad omission. Wondering if it can be done after market.
@@anishskaria MG does some incremental feature upgrades every year. So like last year they did in hector, they may add those two missing things in Astor

But lately, your vlogs have started becoming boring and monotonous. Hence I have certain suggestions, please implement it if you feel they are right. Do testing of cars on winding roads in the ghats, testing car on same road has become boring for us now. Also, while driving the car, please give viewing angles from outside too. Mg Astor is a great car with segment best features , AI Tech, ADAS features and with very great pricing. It will attract a lot of people in India but MG still have to do lot more in terms of sale services and good marketing.

In adaptive cruise control, as soon as the car infront moved out it picked up the speed but didn't slow for the speed breaker @4:55, does it apply brakes when it encounters the speed breaker?
Nope it will not slow down at speed breaker or pot holes or even will not slow down in turns. Its not tesla :-)

Daily running: around 15km
Engine : petrol
Currently I am having personal bend towards MG Astor Manual Sharp.

@@varunsharma7596 I tested it yesterday it gives around 9-10(in city) hopefully the mileage will be quite similiar to seltos or maybe a bit lesser than that but I'm leaning towards MG astor and ive pre-booked the sharp variant aswell, I'd say go for astor

Bhai astor ka review hai hi nahi. Ek video ye hai jisme adas hai. Doosri wo walk around and 3rd is the turbo petrol. But please do the review of the normal naturally aspirated MANUAL one. Plzzzzzzz

Definitely mg have done a great job with this car at a price point of 10 lakhs I mean you get these in a top shelf Mercedes but I think the handling could have been better for driving I think I will go for kushaq
Kushaq is a shit car.... Umpteen problems of quality with it.....

This tech is not available at 10 lakhs. It's available as an option on top variants maybe 17-19 otr. But still it's value for money

Dont think so. You can go for smart or sharp if you need sunroof

Faisal bhai if we turn on cruise control and lane keep assist together then it will work as auto pilot
i see flaws
1. the lane assist will barely work in india, even on major roads here in mumbai there are no lane markings.
2. collision assistance will go mad everywhere due to bike and rickshaws cutting in during traffic.
3. pedestrian colllision, people cross the roads like they are taking a stroll in the park, if you stop some distance from them the entire traffic around you will overtake you and the collision assistance will then wait for the traffic to clear(which we know is never)
4. speed assistance - road signs everywhere say 30 or 40kmph, good luck reaching ur destination with those speeds
good features but you need people to follow lane discipline and obviously you need lane division lines in the first place and don't even get me started on unmarked speed breakers, cruising on highways would be comfortable though

I tried Astor emergency braking and forward collision warning and it doesn't work many times .i even tried with a car and scooter parked in parking and it doesn't work

Better to go for Sharp then, Savvy isn't worth the price
I didn't like the Lane Keep Assist. There have been numerous times when I've had to suddenly manoeuvre to a different lane because something came up in my lane abruptly. If it prevents me from moving away, that's basically the AI hitting that thing. (Given emergency braking is set off) and even in emergency warning on, what if the car behind me is tailing me? The right move would be to manoeuvre.
You can deactivate that while driving.

3 people can not sit comfortably in rear seats, Sun roof curten is verry thin definately not going to block the sun light completely, touch screen lags alot surprisingly no one even mentioning that in reviews, boot space is lesser than the rivals, Build quality is better than seltos and as same as creta , feels safe/premium . Visit showroom experiance yourself.

You can chose whether to brake or alert ,mg will get sign from you in the agrement while purchasing mg is not responsible for the accident

Do you know what actually happens regarding "emergency breaking", you remain extra attentive instead of getting distracted to see how the car performs on "emergency breaking "...😂
Only problem with the auto-braking is that in Indian traffic people are constantly cutting in front of you, so the car will keep on braking too much. Also doubt it will work when some moron is barelling down the wrong side of the road with no regard for his own life.
