Best video tutorial on youtbe by far. the pressure point on middle finger is key for curves and sliders. i could have save few hours of trying if i found this video earlier. The only thing missing is super slow mo and focus on release but probably hard to get. GG and thansk a lot. Cheers from France.
With my curve, I like to flick the ball with my thumb as it's coming over my fingers. Kinda like you're flipping a coin. It'll put so much spin on the ball. I like to throw a couple wild pitches over the hitters head with 2 strikes just so I can sneak my thunder god curveball into the top of the zone when they're expecting it to sail way over. It cuts back down so hard that it doesn't make sense. It breaks really suddenly too so sometimes I'll tunnel it with a riser in the middle and get swings and misses when the ball breaks into the dirt half way to the plate. It's so fun
Coach Trent my knuckle is broken, ive been trying for a week now, it dance with no spin but it never drop ! i just dont get it. do you use tip of your finger or first knucle near the nail ? HELP PLIZ ☺
@@bills.prodzzTyler Davis has a pitch like that and it’s disgusting. I also too had that problem and have figured out that I was gripping the ball too hard with my thumb. I learned how to not use my thumb at all and it gets a ton of rise. If you use your thumb when throwing it, it can be a gross change-up/sinker like movement for a fastball, just like you said yours does. I mix them in with each other for two gross strike pitches. Hope this helps!
Just work on release points, the only way to generate more spin rate is to spin the ball more which is all about release, when it comes to velo its natural, just gotta get stronger👍

Thank you from the U S of A❤️
I have a good Rising 4-seam/Cutter/Knuckle-curve mix that can mess with batters.
Solid mix!!😳
Yeahhh that rising slider thrown after some screwballs I'm sure is unhittable. Good stuff, man!
Preciate it🙏

I use my finger tips and roll the ball back in my hand that way when i go to throw it it gets more consistent top spin
Can I have some tips to help the two seam rise?
Tysm,my riser doesn’t rise it always moves like a change up do u have any tips for that?
Id say to embrace it and start forming your grip to get as much two-seam run as possible and play around with it from there to try and get it to rise🙌
@@TrentsWRLD ty Man Ur my fav player in como!
Thx bro❤️ GL on the Riser!

I guess the screwball is my first pitch that I learned by myself. Hard to locate tho.
Very true
great job
Thank you!
Maybe not invented the rising slider. I was fooling around a while ago and came up with that.
Been throwing it for years but ye
@@TrentsWRLD lets just say we both came to it at different times
Can you help me with getting spin on the slider I can’t figure it out and you seem like a really good picher can you give me tips?
I put as much pressure as possible on my middle finger and think about spinning the ball in a circle around it
Any tips on how to generate more spin and velocity Trent?

Ok but will the updated tutorial go in depth with release points?
What pitches would you recommend for around the 35 mph mark? I play with my friends a lot and need pitches to make them strike out
A big ole ephis curveball… quinn myers style
Tysm I love the vids lately
Glad you like them! Def have A BUNCH more vids on the way in the near future!!
@@TrentsWRLD glad that you do keep up the great work
Should I invest into buying more blitzballs
W investments📈📈
Funny thing is it got stuck in the trees in my backyard and I can’t find it
Do you have a tip for getting spin on the riser? I just can’t spin it
Try and emphasize releasing as late as possible on the ball and almost rolling it off your fingers🙌
You have to have a little bit of velocity
Nice video I’m k alll my friend now 🥶

His knuckle drops look like mine 😂😅

I don’t think your ranked #2 in the whole world so maybe listen to him 👀
Awesome 💯❤🔥
🙏
So an underhanded riser is basically an overhanded curve ball? Lol
i guess you can think of it that way, i use the same grip but its 100% different mechanics and release.
