There are 13 major blocks including the EU plus there are numerous other trading arrangments including custom and monetary unions all with their owm rules of membership which results in some loss of sovereignty for their members. The concept of trade blocks is crucial in the context of international trade.
The formation of trade blocks involves a number of agreements on tariff, trade and tax etc. To imagine we will be to trade bilaterally with 168 countries who are members of some sort of trading block on terms which are as good as those enjoyed by that blocks members is sheer and utter stupidity. The even greater stupidity is to leave the most powerful block and think that is a good thing to aspire to.
And here is where the error of this video comes in...

So what % of UK export will be lost? From 0 to 100 % ? 50% export is 15% UK economy.
It's not just about exports of goods. Without a deal there is also no exports of services (banking, insurance, accounting, consulting, IT services, etc, etc)

We are still in the EU therefore if there are custom duties on those products they are imposed by the EU. At a guess to protect the orange and olive producers in the EU from cheaper imports putting them out of business. Haven't you been listening how world trade works? Listen to the first part of the broadcast with the expert on international trade it is very enlightening
