    Eminem And Dre Made 50

    • @MMA4Supper
      @MMA4Supper 8 лет назад +24

      They made him a household artist but 50's early shit is way better before he went mainstream. He did some of his best work as an underground artist. His early shit was way harder but Dr. Dre gave him some funky beats to work with. Check out his - then controversial - underground single "How to Rob", which he wrote in a half-hour car ride to a studio. The track hilariously describes how he would rob famous artists. That's the problem with a lot of hip-hop artist. They often do their best work when grinding living in the gutter. It's kind of hard to put your emotions into your music when you were living among the 1% richest people. That's why 50 fell off in my opinion.

    *Till I Collapse is the GOAT.*
    Definitely the best *pump up* song ever. That first verse alone kills any other rap song I can think of. Everything rhymes, the production is top notch, the chorus is perfect/extremely memorable, Em's delivery is precise, and no other rapper has ever expressed passion and anger in such a entertaining/listenable fashion.
    "Su-*bliminal thoughts*, *when I'mma stop* [sending 'em]?
    *Women are caught* in webs, *spin 'em and hock* [venom
    A]*drenaline shots* of peni-*cillin could not* get the *illin' to stop*
    Amoxi-*cillin's just not* [real enough]
    The *criminal cop* *killin', hip-hop* [villain
    A] *minimal swap* to cop *millions of Pac* [listeners]
    You're coming with me, *feel it or not* you're gonna *fear it like I*
    Showed you the *spirit of God* [lives in us]
    You *hear it a lot*, *lyrics to shock*... etc."
    Everything from the internal rhyme, to the mosaics, to the multis, to the similes is all Perfect. All blended with an elaborate movie style theme as each verse escalates the vision more and more. It's almost like Em set out to make this song only so he could sleep at night knowing anyone else who tackled the beat wouldn't be able to come close to him. MF Doom, Kendrick, Kanye, Cole, even Nas, they can't rap over beats like this.
    The GOAT.

    2000s rap was great (maybe just as good as 90s) with the start carrying on with that 90s style such as Eminem and 50 Cent and then the rise of southern rappers (T.I, Ludacris, Lil Wayne) and even the future projects of 90s rappers such as Snoop, Nas and Jay-Z. Even Kanye. God, it was so much better than rap now.

    I have figured out why Eminem is the best rapper of all time... What truly makes Eminem the best rapper (apart from his skill of stinging words together to form extremely creative and clever rhymes) is the fact that he does not employ the use of Ebonics... His songs consist of proper English words unlike the major majority of other rappers (some rappers use Ebonics to the extent that the average person would not understand every second word)... The fact that he raps in proper English enhances his genius in the rap genre, enabling his songs to be understood by the average person which in turn grants him a larger audience. The fact that even 'honest' black rappers call him the best speaks volumes which I believe is attributed to the absence of Ebonics coupled with a creative and clever mind.
