Great looking emerger davie I'm sure it works very well tks 😊
Beautiful looking bubble there mate. Thanks for sharing with us all.
I still have a hank of Lureflash Mobile Pearl just like it. The first flash I ever got and its nearly 20 years old. Still going strong, I used add it to wings of everything from Montana's to damsel nymphs to ribs of buzzers. Great stuff. Never knew what the nylon was for. But makes sense.
Great pattern Davie thank you for the video
Another great looking fly from the master, thanks for sharing your knowledge and skill with us, looking forward to the next one.
Дэви, прекрасная работа, как всегда! Благодарю!👍🤝🇰🇿

Very buggy! Thanks Davie
Great job Davie, I've tied the CDC Bubble Emerger that you posted on 12 May 2022. I have to tie this one also to fill the Father's Day gift box that I'm creating. The CDC you quoted (Mar sometthing? Could not make out what you said, were you at Happy Hour again?) Thanks for sharing with us all.
Its wild Mallard duck CDC Davie said. 👍
👌
Hi Davie thanks for the great video and lovely fly, could you upload the materials used in the description, thanks :)
Paráda
Nice fly Davie. I've seen a number of 'bubble' patterns and wanted to ask - is the bubble just to improve buoyancy, or to represent wings? Cheers
A very fishy looking fly Davie Thanks
Love it, I can see using this for our Grannom hatch using a different color slate
What's the bobbin holder, Davie?
Hi @gentlemenantiquarian6507,
I use the Tiemco heavy duty bobbing holder, I have attached a link to it for you to see..premierangling.ie/product/tiemco-ceramic-bobbin-straight-heavy-duty/
All the very best Davie
Instead of waxing your thread, why don't you just use waxed thread?
I believe the UNI thread he is using is waxed, using the additional tying wax helps lock materials even more than the standard waxed thread would.
Now are you using a pinched loop technique to do the CDC bubble when you put it on ?
a stoater.
