Rugged and Durable Camera Cage for DJI Action 2!

I've been on the hunt for the Best Rugged Camera Cage for the DJI Action 2!
Here's the thing: I want to protect my DJI Action 2 with a good sturdy camera cage.
Why? Because there are metal edges, glass on the screens and lenses, and since I travel, I want it to be able to pack this in a bag, worry free of it being scratched and tossed about.
A DJI Action 2 cage not only must provide good protection, but allow for heat to dissipate from the camera as it gets hot.

Nice cage review. I've gotten the Ulanzi and the Small Rig, both give me a little something I like but I find myself using the Small Rig cage more. The only down fall of that is that you screw on the GoPro feet on the bottom. I wish that was molded in and magnetic to just snap on and off. However I use the Snap Mount system for most of my common mounts so overall for me the Small Rig is probably where I will stick with most. Mainly because Small Rig protects the unit completely just a little better than Ulanzi. The bottom screen module on Ulanzi protrudes out of the cage by a small amount which could get damaged if you dropped it. Whereas the Small Rig cage protects the unit all the way around without the screen or bottom module being exposed on the edges at all.
I like what I see in the Tilta Cage, does it cover the edges perfectly without the bottom module protruding in any way? It appears that it might be very similar to the Ulanzi cage on the bottom module when I see it in the video.

You are right. While the lens and screens are well within the cage dimensions, the back of the battery module or back 2nd screen module stick out of the cage. While these do not have glass or buttons, the cage does a good job protecting the more fragile glass parts of the Action 2. As you have found, you'll use what works for you. Small Rig is great, and they have an expansive inventory for most cameras. It's also not a Ulanzi company. UUrig is also Ulanzi, so be aware their parts and items may be similar. Ehat about thr overheating issues

No overheats here because I have filmed outside with this cage. I don’t do long filming sessions, and GoPros can overheat at high frame rates too. Even my Sony A6400 and ZV1 can overheat, and just like the Action 2, you have high temperature over ride options that can help.
