I use the product until the dark mark is faded then I stop using the fade cream, it usually takes about 6 weeks to fade a dark mark. The 6 months I refer to in this video, is not me using the fade cream repeatedly in the same area, what usually happens is once I fade one mark I get another one somewhere else. I've used Ambi for many many years "off and on". KEY POINT: Once your dark mark (or marks) are faded "stop using this cream". I have never had side effects, but that doesn't mean you won't experience side effects. Watch how your skin behaves and make adjustments accordingly. I'm a cosmetologist, Ambi does work for spots really well, I apply it on my face like a normal moisturizer for keeping it even all over. When I get the desired results and I stop using the creme until I notice new spots starting. You don't want to continually use it because it is a"bleaching creme". Only use till desired tone and quit until you see new spots. It's apart of my daily skin routine. After I apply Ambi, I use my collagen creme and then apply my retinol creme. The nice thing about Ambi is that it also has retinol and hyaluronic acid to moisturize as it lightens. And yes, you can apply this twice a day with your other day and night moisturizers.
She's right!! I actually did this by accident🤣🤣 forgot I didnt rub it all the way in and began to wash dishes. The next day I saw a huge difference in just one day, than I did in the 2 weeks I had already been using it! I now use it to fade dark marks on my legs.

I used it as a kid up til I was 20. People thought I had makeup on and I never felt the need to do makeup. Idk why I ever stopped using it. My skin is still nice 6 years later but I’m gonna go get some tomorrow. My skin stayed flawless when I used ambi

I always only put a dot on the actual marks. If you rub all over you are lightening EVERYTHING, so you make the skin around the spots lighter which causes the marks to still appear darker

@@Forit26 It's going very well! My scars has gone from very dark brown to light brown.. Some has gone completely... I actually only used it for a 10 days last month. I am using this method sporadically as my skin is highly sensitive plus I'm using other treatments (glycolic and azelaic acid for the spots). But I will start using it again next week to clear the rest of my pigmentation : )

Great video! I have far too much hyperpigmentation on my cheeks and forehead to spot treat. I will try to spot on the darkest ones as best I can. I always thought rubbing it in until it absorbs was the better option but by reading the comments, it seems your method truly works. I hope so! My face is the worse for me and I've been loosing hope on getting my face clear for some time now. I don't want to depend on makeup anymore to feel beautiful and have a flawless look. @@toyamarti1251 It did in fact lighten and rid the majority of my hyperpigmentation on my forehead, chin, jawline, around my mouth. I still have a few that are very stubborn and won't fade on my right cheek. I'm currently not using now and am using a ginger tumeric soap that I got on Etsy. It's doing a good job on my face so far and I hope it will tackle the stubborn area.

@@preshm189 still going good i stopped. As i work alot my face got rashes and spots. ... started again and its great. I used Ambi soap on my face when i stopped the turmeric and I broke out with rash so i wont be using thag again. As for the cream its going ok so far.
This has been my go to for 40 years. In the 70's I used on my legs for chx pox scars. I scratched. As a teen I used on my face but it would break me out sometimes. Now as an adult on face for hyper pigmentation and I noticed it lightning after 2 weeks.

I use this in conjunction with differin gel. I use the fade cream as a spot treatment over the differin gel. The differin helps to exfoliate the skin and makes sure the fade cream goes a little deeper into the skin no spf at night. But 50 spf in the Am and I spot extra spf on the dark spots so it’s extra Protected if that made sense. This has really helped me control my PIH spots Ps you’re so beautiful😍 thanks for the lovely vid!

Just bought this cream. Due to the masks bc of the Pandemic I've NOW been getting multiple pimples that go away but they leave scars when they do! I've never really had this before so I'm excited to see how much this works. I also have been using CeraVe foaming cleanser which has significantly improved the look of my skin as well and not over drying
@@cynthiamwangi5296 Yes ma'am it did. I will say i got a few pimples when using near the areas i placed it on but dont worry CeraVe foaming Cleanser cleared the pimples right away! Anyway I used the lightening cream for a total of 2 weeks day and night. At first I didn't notice a difference but seen those specific spots I placed the cream on had very light peeIing (unnoticeable unless examining very very close in the mirror like my paranoid self). So curiously near the end of my 2 weeks of use, I scrubbed my face with the CeraVe foaming cleanser and then seen that was just dead skin and my marks are significantly lighter and healed. I am confident enough to take pics again😊 Will start using again soon. I recommend putting it on with a Q-Tip let it sit for about 10 mins and then gently rub it in your skin

Yesssss! Let it sit on the skin so it can do it’s job. I legit would rub ambi on my skin, my face was clear no blemishes but that was just wrong 😂 this is how you do it. Results are way faster and concentrated on the areas you spot treat.
My aunt is actually an Ambi ambassador and model, and she gets like a huge box of products and her skin is perfect and she knows that I’m struggling with acne and hyperpigmentation since I was like 9 and now I’m 15, she obviously gave me the products to use but I never thought of actually using them since nothing has worked and now that I’m very upset with skin, I will start using the ambi products she has provided me with starting today and we’ll see if it works🤷♀️ this video is giving me hope!

Instead of putting it spot by spot i just put it all over my face like a light layer after all my serums and toner every day morning and night. It’s slowly going away. I see a big difference after two week. It’s good. It doesn’t bleach my skin or anything

Melanin is precious! That is not dumb!! Not at all. I don’t want to bleach either, that’s why I prefer this technique it allows me to just spot treat. The trick is knowing when to stop using the product! I’m going to do a follow up video on that.
Thank you for this. I've been looking for a solution to remove skin damage from years of shaving with disposable shavers. Now that I have been using a straight razor for a few years, I notice that two areas I always had problems with when using disposables are darker than the rest of my face. Will pick up some Ambi Fade Cream tomorrow to start fixing this. Then I'm getting laser hair removal in those two patches to remove the hair permanently.
You guys might want to stock up on ambi fade cream in the US or any over the counter product that has hydroquione. Big pharma and the gov are banning that ingredient in over the counter skincare products. You’ll only be able to get hydroquione by prescription. Check out the dermatologist DR. DREY here on RUclips. OMG!!! This method of using Ambi fade cream truly works🥰🥰🥰. I had a huge ugly scar underneath my nose that has been there for about a year.... do you hear me ....a year!!! This cream has really faded my dark spot in 3-4days of use. I bought it on a Sunday and then I saw results of the scar beginning to fade in 24 hours and by that Thursday hunnty that scar was faded dramatically. Almost one week in and Ambi has really made a difference. Please please please buy this cream and apply this spot method and let it melt into the skin. It really works!!!

Love the video!!! I have light skin with a few dark sub spots. One is right at my eyebrows, so it makes it look like I have 1 janky eyebrow. I gotta fix that!!! This method is sooo bomb. However, I’ve been using the discoloration serum from Good Molecules without hydroquinone all over my face to prevent blotchiness. Did you experience blotchiness from using Ambi by itself in this method to fade your marks?

I subscribed!! I have post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and have been dealing with it for years! It had gotten so bad that I didn’t want to go outside, my problem areas are my chin and around my mouth and it would get so dry in those areas and flame when I would put makeup on..since I have oily skin I wasn’t moisturizing because I didn’t want my skin too oily but I read that if you have oily skin,You still need moisturize because if you don’t your body will over produce oils. Also, whenever I get pimples they leave dark marks and I want to get rid of them and one day be able to go bare-faced without even concealer!

That’s because you applied Ambi BLEACHING CREAM like lotion. It’s a dark spot, spot treatment. NOT a moisturizer. It’s no wonder you look like Michael Jackson. You literally bleached your entire face by rubbing it all over. Unless you had dark spots ALL OVER your face. Then I could understand. I’d rather take the MJ jokes than have blemishes all over my face. Your natural tone will come back on its own. But you can speed up the process by using natural cocoa butter or bio oil. Also, try taking Zinc, Vitamin C + A to prevent future inflammation which causes blemishes.
I've tried Ambi several times in the past, in this manner & it has always left my skin blotchy.. it faded areas around the spots, but left the spots.. I'm trying it again now & I put it on my whole face & let it dry up.. but so far, I can't tell if it's working better or not. I'm opened to suggestions though.

Change Waters I failed to mention result time; for me after two weeks I typically see results, after a month the dark mark is faded. ☝🏾Unless I pick it when it’s a pimple and the mark is really dark those can take as long as 3 months to fade😭.

Thank you for the support! Ambi will definitely work, you just have to be consistent. Also once the spot is faded stop using it. I only use Ambi when I need to fade spots.
From the top of my head prevention methods would include; use less, use sunscreen, don’t apply product to exact location every application, use once daily instead of twice daily, use every other day, or cut down usage to once a week once dark spots begin to fade. I’m sure there are other ways to prevent this but that’s just what I came up with real quick. Hope it helps!
This was amazing and worked wonders!!! My skin was almost clear but Ambi changed the formula and the new one doesn't work as well. It seems to make the dark spots worse. So is there another product you would recommend?
I’m using the old formula, try your local beauty supply stores (sometimes they have old “expired” products) or CVS. Those are the only places I’ve heard that have them.
*it didn't work for me. it literally gave me an allergic reaction even though I hardly get any allergic reactions to products. I've never had an allergic reaction till using the Ambi Fade Cream. after using it for about 3-4 days my skin starter getting really bumpy and red. over several days it got worse and really itchy. I even tested it on my arm to see if it had the same reaction and after a few days my arm was bumpy and red. the allergic reaction was so bad. would recommend a patch test first*
What if mine or not little spots almost like if I had blush on the bottom of my cheek so I have to put it on there I would have to rub it or put a big plaster so I'm kind of nervous I have very oily skin to
I just got this and I see a difference on my affected area, but I have a few on my forehead and the next day I have this tiny red bumps all over ONLY in my forehead not my cheek. Is this an allergic reaction??
heyy just wanted to know if this will break me out? i dont have a lot of spots bc ive been using the alpha arbutin from the ordinary and they have basically completely cleared just a few on my left cheek and i just need reassurance it wont break me out💕
Wish I could guarantee you that this product won’t break you out, but honestly I have no idea🤷🏾♀️. It doesn’t break me out, maybe do some research and just double check that the ingredients in Ambi play nice with the ingredients you already use. However if your Alpha Arbutin is working just stay consistent with that. Good luck!💛

@@Forit26 It's going very well! My scars has gone from very dark brown to light brown.. Some has gone completely... I actually only used it for a 10 days last month. I am using this method sporadically as my skin is highly sensitive plus I'm using other treatments (glycolic and azelaic acid for the spots). But I will start using it again next week to clear the rest of my pigmentation : )

Great video! I have far too much hyperpigmentation on my cheeks and forehead to spot treat. I will try to spot on the darkest ones as best I can. I always thought rubbing it in until it absorbs was the better option but by reading the comments, it seems your method truly works. I hope so! My face is the worse for me and I've been loosing hope on getting my face clear for some time now. I don't want to depend on makeup anymore to feel beautiful and have a flawless look. It did in fact lighten and rid the majority of my hyperpigmentation on my forehead, chin, jawline, around my mouth. I still have a few that are very stubborn and won't fade on my right cheek. I'm currently not using now and am using a ginger tumeric soap that I got on Etsy. It's doing a good job on my face so far and I hope it will tackle the stubborn area.

@@preshm189 still going good i stopped. As i work alot my face got rashes and spots. ... started again and its great. I used Ambi soap on my face when i stopped the turmeric and I broke out with rash so i wont be using thag again. As for the cream its going ok so far.

This has been my go to for 40 years. In the 70's I used on my legs for chx pox scars. I scratched. As a teen I used on my face but it would break me out sometimes. Now as an adult on face for hyper pigmentation and I noticed it lightning after 2 weeks.

I use this in conjunction with differin gel. I use the fade cream as a spot treatment over the differin gel. The differin helps to exfoliate the skin and makes sure the fade cream goes a little deeper into the skin no spf at night. But 50 spf in the Am and I spot extra spf on the dark spots so it’s extra Protected if that made sense. This has really helped me control my PIH spots

Just bought this cream. Due to the masks bc of the Pandemic I've NOW been getting multiple pimples that go away but they leave scars when they do! I've never really had this before so I'm excited to see how much this works. I also have been using CeraVe foaming cleanser which has significantly improved the look of my skin as well and not over drying

Anyway I used the lightening cream for a total of 2 weeks day and night. At first I didn't notice a difference but seen those specific spots I placed the cream on had very light peeIing (unnoticeable unless examining very very close in the mirror like my paranoid self). So curiously near the end of my 2 weeks of use, I scrubbed my face with the CeraVe foaming cleanser and then seen that was just dead skin and my marks are significantly lighter and healed. I am confident enough to take pics again😊 Will start using again soon. I recommend putting it on with a Q-Tip let it sit for about 10 mins and then gently rub it in your skin
I'm struggling with dark melasma spots brought on by an autoimmune disease. My aunt is actually an Ambi ambassador and model, and she gets like a huge box of products and her skin is perfect and she knows that I’m struggling with acne and hyperpigmentation since I was like 9 and now I’m 15, she obviously gave me the products to use but I never thought of actually using them since nothing has worked and now that I’m very upset with skin, I will start using the ambi products she has provided me with starting today and we’ll see if it works🤷♀️ this video is giving me hope!

Melanin is precious! That is not dumb!! Not at all. I don’t want to bleach either, that’s why I prefer this technique it allows me to just spot treat. The trick is knowing when to stop using the product! I’m going to do a follow up video on that.

I've been looking for a solution to remove skin damage from years of shaving with disposable shavers.
Now that I have been using a straight razor for a few years, I notice that two areas I always had problems with when using disposables are darker than the rest of my face.
Will pick up some Ambi Fade Cream tomorrow to start fixing this.
Then I'm getting laser hair removal in those two patches to remove the hair permanently.
You guys might want to stock up on ambi fade cream in the US or any over the counter product that has hydroquione. Big pharma and the gov are banning that ingredient in over the counter skincare products. You’ll only be able to get hydroquione by prescription. Check out the dermatologist DR. DREY here on RUclips. OMG!!! This method of using Ambi fade cream truly works🥰🥰🥰. I had a huge ugly scar underneath my nose that has been there for about a year.... do you hear me ....a year!!! This cream has really faded my dark spot in 3-4days of use. I bought it on a Sunday and then I saw results of the scar beginning to fade in 24 hours and by that Thursday hunnty that scar was faded dramatically. Almost one week in and Ambi has really made a difference. Please please please buy this cream and apply this spot method and let it melt into the skin. It really works!!!

Love the video!!! I have light skin with a few dark sub spots. One is right at my eyebrows, so it makes it look like I have 1 janky eyebrow. I gotta fix that!!! I've heard lemon juice but it's not REALLY working the way I had hoped. I can't wait to try this!!

I subscribed!! I have post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and have been dealing with it for years! It had gotten so bad that I didn’t want to go outside, my problem areas are my chin and around my mouth and it would get so dry in those areas and flame when I would put makeup on..since I have oily skin I wasn’t moisturizing because I didn’t want my skin too oily but I read that if you have oily skin,You still need moisturize because if you don’t your body will over produce oils.
Also, whenever I get pimples they leave dark marks and I want to get rid of them and one day be able to go bare-faced without even concealer!

That’s because you applied Ambi BLEACHING CREAM like lotion. It’s a dark spot, spot treatment. NOT a moisturizer. It’s no wonder you look like Michael Jackson. You literally bleached your entire face by rubbing it all over.
Unless you had dark spots ALL OVER your face. Then I could understand. I’d rather take the MJ jokes than have blemishes all over my face. Your natural tone will come back on its own. But you can speed up the process by using natural cocoa butter or bio oil. Also, try taking Zinc, Vitamin C + A to prevent future inflammation which causes blemishes.
I've tried Ambi several times in the past, in this manner & it has always left my skin blotchy.. it faded areas around the spots, but left the spots.. I'm trying it again now & I put it on my whole face & let it dry up.. but so far, I can't tell if it's working better or not. I'm opened to suggestions though.

Change Waters I failed to mention result time; for me after two weeks I typically see results, after a month the dark mark is faded. ☝🏾Unless I pick it when it’s a pimple and the mark is really dark those can take as long as 3 months to fade😭.

Thank you for the support! Ambi will definitely work, you just have to be consistent. Also once the spot is faded stop using it. I only use Ambi when I need to fade spots.
Hey love!! So that’s the exact method I use, but I ended up with light spots in the shape of how I’d apply it, any tips on preventing that??
From the top of my head prevention methods would include; use less, use sunscreen, don’t apply product to exact location every application, use once daily instead of twice daily, use every other day, or cut down usage to once a week once dark spots begin to fade. I’m sure there are other ways to prevent this but that’s just what I came up with real quick. Hope it helps!

This was amazing and worked wonders!!! My skin was almost clear but Ambi changed the formula and the new one doesn't work as well. It seems to make the dark spots worse. So is there another product you would recommend?
I’m using the old formula, try your local beauty supply stores (sometimes they have old “expired” products) or CVS. Those are the only places I’ve heard that have them.
*it didn't work for me. it literally gave me an allergic reaction even though I hardly get any allergic reactions to products. I've never had an allergic reaction till using the Ambi Fade Cream. after using it for about 3-4 days my skin starter getting really bumpy and red. over several days it got worse and really itchy. I even tested it on my arm to see if it had the same reaction and after a few days my arm was bumpy and red. the allergic reaction was so bad. would recommend a patch test first*
What if mine or not little spots almost like if I had blush on the bottom of my cheek so I have to put it on there I would have to rub it or put a big plaster so I'm kind of nervous I have very oily skin to
I just got this and I see a difference on my affected area, but I have a few on my forehead and the next day I have this tiny red bumps all over ONLY in my forehead not my cheek. Is this an allergic reaction??

Once, if you catch it early it is really easy to fade. Twice a day of you have old marks/spots.
heyy just wanted to know if this will break me out? i dont have a lot of spots bc ive been using the alpha arbutin from the ordinary and they have basically completely cleared just a few on my left cheek and i just need reassurance it wont break me out💕
Wish I could guarantee you that this product won’t break you out, but honestly I have no idea🤷🏾♀️. It doesn’t break me out, maybe do some research and just double check that the ingredients in Ambi play nice with the ingredients you already use. However if your Alpha Arbutin is working just stay consistent with that. Good luck!💛
I’ve been using alpha arbutin for like 5 weeks but it hasn’t completely got rid of my scars :( do u have a certain technique or something?
@@sana-sp6pe no i use it 2 times a day (morning and night) and i use it with the niacinamide but stick with it maybe its not working fast because your scars are old but it works just be consistent and dont miss a day. It says 8-12 weeks
