  • The best days of TNP are still ahead...like this! I'm back in the wilderness, this time on the KTM 890 on a desert mountain camping trip. I'm here also to review of this xlnt tent. A short POU reminder discussion ensues and I let you know if TNF Trail Lite 3 is good for base camping. Then specifics follow and I'll tie into my past tent reviews here in TNP. All in all the TNF Trail Lite 3 is an amazing tent with outstanding ventilation, quality, lightweight, strength, roominess, and wind/rain shedding fly. All at a great price. Get it while you esp. since it was on sale when I posted this review...it pays to follow the content!

The NF TL3 looks like a great tent for motorcycling.
I miss these useful gear reviews Nutn. I learned a lot from your past camping videos in Winter and I've tried to make that translate into my Motorcycle Camping excursions, along with adopting many of your philosophies.
I've had a 22' KTM 890 Adventure for a year and a half and had some great adventures on the bike. Recently picked up a T7 as I have bled Yamaha Blue since I was a kid in the 70's.

Been watching the NutN fancy series since the backpacking days and I have to say I drifted away from the channel when those came to a stop. I even recall the episode where the camping, backpacking stuff seemed to come to an abrupt end and it really made me sad.
I do more motorcycle camping these days but I still keep the gear multipurpose and light. Always have a blade and flashlight as well as carry piece.
I hope others like me that are not so much into the gear porn but more into the outdoor adventures of NutN watch this video.

Kind of heavy in my taste for a 3 season backpacking tent if you are solo backpacking. It makes sense for a bikepacking tent or if you are sharing it as a 2 person tent. I have been pretty happy with the big agnes copper spur. High end, free standing, ultra light. Expensive but they have 40% mil discounts like vortex.

As a long term subscriber- one man's mltivation is not another man's responsibility. If you want views, you can't get them by not making videos. I've heard the excuses: too many other hobbies, too many other ideas, not enought juice for the squeeze, etc. Such extrinsically motivated, flippant, and superficial modalities for making videos that you KNOW your long term audience enjoys is peurile and superficial. Always offputting when a man blames others for something he can control, while not owning the mechanisms he can control.
