When to change tyres of scooter and Motorcycles

Tyre play important role in automobiles and it also prevents accidents until they are in good conditions.
But when they are out of service life they don't work as expected major faults while riding those tyres are
1. skiding
2. sudden burst
3. air pressure drops off
4. steering problem.
change tyre after every 5-6 years or if cracks appears
