I love their relationship so much. I an instant smiling every time when I see them together. Floki did so much for Ivar and I'm sure Ivar was so needed for Floki, because he appeared in his life exactly when his daughter died. Floki brought up a true Viking and an incredible warrior. I was so sad when they said goodbye to each other. I will miss for this wonderful duo. I hope you enjoy the video!

Floki believed in Ivar more than anyone ever could. Ragnar was proud but only told him at the end of his life, Floki saw it in him from the beginning, he was there from the start and end and in some way, Floki was the father Ivar never truly had
Well seeing how ivar turned out safe to say floki was wrong.
The way Ivar said ‘ My heart is broken’ broke my heart😭
It will repair..
"You cannot leave me, I will be too lonely" is so similar to what Ragnar says to Athlestan. The way they feel & have relationships, they are possessive in the same way. Ivar really did inherit Ragnar's emotional rollercoaster, not just his ruthlessness & strategic mind.

@@bobloerakker7010 floki didn't die in combat, he may very well be denied entry if odin deems his exploits when he was younger aren't enough since he wasn't really a warrior, more of a scrapper. Hopefully i'm wrong.

I wonder if Floki would recognise what Ivar is now, or knew his potential. He's managed to become the most feared warrior with the body of a cripple, having to be twice as great/ruthless as everyone else to be where he is. Both Ragnar and Floki would be proud.

Floki's reaction on the beach crippled me. He knew, they had a bond unlike anyone else in the show.

Poor ivar..everyone who loves him and he loves left him alone..1st his father..2nd his mother..3rd floki..4th freydis..and now all his brothers are against him..i know he is a bad character..but life also cruel to him
He's not that bad.... he just needs and wants someone on his side who can guide him! Dat's why he trusted freydis so much... if he had Floki on his side he probably wouldn't fall for her. She was bad for him cause he need someone who helps him to stay on the ground! She raised him as a God he never was...

Thank you for another masterful edit! This brings out even more the beautiful relationship these two had, and the fact that, with Ragnar absent and everyone else rejecting him apart from his mother, Ivar at least received *some* love from a father figure. It always breaks my heart when people call Ivar a bad person, crazy or psycho. All a result of the monster label that was slapped on him from the start. Very few people make the effort to see through the many layers of this complex character to understand what he goes through and why he is how he is. Same with Floki. Completely different from Ivar, yet similar in many ways - same darkness, same passion, same strong faith, both misunderstood, rejected outcasts trying to please the Gods, both incredibly complex personalities. Whenever I get to the scene when Floki leaves I think how sad it is he and Ivar will never meet again. You captured their moments together beautifully! 🙌
This makes me cry because in our lives we need to love and to be loved. When life gives you a special bond like the one Ivar and Floki shared, you can't help but feel Ivar's pain and loneliness from Floki's departure. If you can watch scenes like these and not muster up a single feeling, something has got to be wrong with you.
I'm saying this now: One of you BEST Vikings videos, jarl Zurik! Ivar's and Floki's relationship is one of the most beautiful things one the show. It's one of those things that you just want more of, but they are taken from you too early, so that only the sweet taste of them is left with you.

I know that many people didn't want to watch the show anymore after Ragnar died but his sons (Bjorn, Ivar, Ubbe) did an amazing job of carrying the torch. Loved all of those characters and each one seemed to have a different piece of Ragnar in him.... Bjorn the king... Ubbe the farmer... Ivar the conqueror!
