  • When your child is learning to read, sometimes they will get stuck on a word. This is normal! As their parent, you want to help them figure out what the word says. But you also know that they need to learn how to do this on their own. How do you balance giving them enough help - while also guiding them to become more independent?
In this video, I explain what to do if your child gets stuck on a word and can’t read it on their own. I break down lots of specific strategies that are easy to try at home!
