I signed up for everything you proposed. My daughter is 1st grader going into summer and will be In second grade she is below national average in reading she reads 30 words per minute teacher said that’s well below where she needs to be. My question if I work hard to help her 4 or 5 days a week during summer is it possible her being so low nationally and in her class can we catch her up put her on level or above starting second grade

I'm happy to help with this! Can you please email Alison@learningattheprimarypond.com? I will send you an assessment, then we can chat about her results and moving forward. :)

Hi Alison, i'm in the uk and we just got pulled to one side by one of the teachers saying shes currently behind in school. Shes just turned 7 so im planning to put in the work to get her to the right level. Is your reading plan suitable for a child in the UK too? We don't know all the details of the issues atm, but will find out on Monday, so i'm trying to just try to gather information and be proactive atm.

Hi, Andrew! It would definitely work! Some of the words would need some tweaking on your end for the spelling differences (ie color vs colour, etc). Please email me if you have more questions! alison@learningattheprimarypond.com
