I just drove back from my daughter’s lab appointment. I mentioned this video and the nurse automatically agreed it’s not good for people to take it. She didn’t even hesitate.
I would rather be fat and depressed than look even worse by taking medication that is not necessary.
Slow and steady wins the race. That’s how I lost it. I look better now, compared to when I was in my 20s. Not joking. I wasn’t even fat. I just didn’t eat properly and had a skin condition. My diet and my habits have improved so much especially after I married my husband. He taught me a lot about fitness and nutrition.
Jillian Michaels is SPOT ON!!!!!
I have a friend on Ozempic and one that was on it and now off it. The one on it hasn’t changed her eating habits but eats less junk food. The other friend that was on Ozempic and is now off it did lose weight during Ozempic and has regained all the weight and more. Jillian is absolutely 💯 right.
In reference to towards the end of the podcast: “when you have your health, you have everything.”
Love love love this! She said what people do not want to hear.
By no means am I stating these facts about my lifestyle to boast. I'm 72, do not take any medications, don't drink ever, exercise 6 times a week...nothing fancy, use mostly videos. My routine is: upper, lower, aerobic twice a week for a total of 6 workouts. My diet: NO SUGAR!!!, high protein. I know that as one ages, it's more difficult to maintain muscle. Hard work and determination is what it takes. I weigh 155 and don't consider myself as fat, but instead strong. Thank you, Jesus for giving me the strength to maintain my good health.
NVO stock went from 80 to 142 USD in 12 months. So they are making tons of money, but there will be couple giant lawsuits in the future.
INSTANT gratification !!!!!!!!!!! Is the root of the problem
JM is killing it!
Jillian google your reputation and your former contestants.
Lets just talk Ozempic face by itself..Sharon Osbourne was on the show not too long ago and the way her face looked after prolonged effects of taking the drug should be enough to scare anyone off
I thank and admire Jillian for speaking out on these drugs as they really don’t know the long term effects of these wt loss drugs. I have been studying these drugs and feel natural ways of losing weight are best at least in my personal opinion. I do not judge others
I’m be honest I was on wegovy for 5 weeks had to stop because of gallbladder problems and gastritis. Never had any issues before. It’s 2 months later still having issues. I completely regret it.
People lose 40% of your "lean body mass" meaning muscles like your heart, no one has been able to rebuild the lost the muscle.
It was originally packaged for diabetic patients for insulin injection and you could lose weight.
I want to hear about her previous relationship with Jackie Warner
Eat less and move more. Are people really struggling with this?
Exactly. it's first, how much you eat. What you eat. AND...even when you eat.
Yes. But it's not a problem with the concept of it. It's a problem with the patience it requires.
Yes.
The problem is that Jillian (although I love her) has made her money in the weightloss industry, She was the GURU for weightloss because of the Biggest Loser Series. Naturally, she will be sceptical and biased agains any weightloss drug because it goes against what she has been preaching for years. However, as she said she is not an expert in it, she is not a Doctor, she makes assumptions like she has done clinical reasearch on it, obviously she hasn't. She talks about plateau as if it only happens on the drugs and never on diets. IF you stop diets you also gain the weight back, Look at all her past contestants on the biggest loser.
People, listen to doctors that have experience in this issue not some random people on RUclips that hold bias
I assure you, she's not losing any money by people using Ozempic. She's not worried about that at all. I've followed her for over 12 years and she's always advocated for muscle retention, fat loss, bone density, and long-term health...not quick fixes. She has nothing to gain by speaking out against Big Pharma.
She is not random and I would rather take her advice than a doctor who is being paid off by Big Pharma.
You cant donate blood on Ozempic..
Don't touch the stuff it destroyed my bladder.
It doesnt kick start a dang thing people want a miracle and are willing to risk their health on "miracle drugs" being to lazy to put in the work.
Its damaging to her bussines
Agree totally! And her rhetoric, former tv show and career over the years have been damaging to people's health too.
Right because she’s just as wealthy as big food industries lmao 😅
I dip my McNuggets in Ozempic
As a gay man I agree with Jillian
12:51 nothing involving sexuality. Congrats on making comments about health based on a minuscule part of yourself
Jill’s language could be chosen a bit more carefully I’ve heard less cursing on a prison yard than in this full interview
It’s called the real world. Get over it.
You’ve never been in a prison yard.
@@SuperTFRO really? My department of corrections number says otherwise
@@gamingdreams2142 the real world is a woman that can’t get through 5 minutes without f-bombs like a jr high kid trying to impress his friends. You must live in rural Mississippi
@@stephenmaher1029 Sure.
To lose weight, go with Gbomb diet. I did. Feel great. Blood work from Doc's office came back perfect.
