- Опубликовано: 21 апр 2023
- Freak weather alert! Learn the basics of a poor-visibility/night (instrument flight rules) landing in the Mirage 2000C in DCS World.
This tutorial takes place on the Persian Gulf map in DCS World.
Reiver uses the English variant of the Mirage 2000C cockpit, because he is an uneducated barbarian.
Reiver is not a hardcore milsim-er - he just likes playing the game well - if you're looking for something more authentic, please consult the flight manual.

I wish this level of quality tutorials existed for every aircraft lmao
Thanks!
I recently started learning on the Mirage-2000C as well and your videos come at a perfect time. The regular training missions alone don't show everything (I remember they wanted us to use auto pilot to stabilize the aircraft and follow a waypoint during a lesson, without explaining how it works and where is its panel). I'll watch everything you show for sure, thanks.
Thanks Adaron. Glad you're learning the M2K. I have a complete roadmap of videos set out so look out for the next one soon!
Very good guide, i know mirage pretty well but still i become a new information, which ist very helpful. Keep going💪🤝
Thanks Hans. We can always strive to improve, not because we're not good enough but because we can always be better. Glad if was useful for you.
Hi fellow virtual aviator. New suscriptor here . Awesome content and great tutorials on my beloved dorito. Keep up the good work mate.
Thank you! I'm slowly getting there with some new videos so look out for them.
Great video Reiver, looking forward to the next one.
Thank you, Rhodite. The Mirage 2000C is an underappreciated airframe. Hopefully will see you online in the virtual skies soon.
Great stuff man hope to see more vids from you. These kinds of tutorials are sorely missing in the community.
Thanks. Yes, plenty more to come!
What a great find this series was - undoubtedly the best I've seen on RUclips. Clear concise and well illustrated, proper professional job. Thanks.......now if only you could do the same for all the other planes I own :-) Cheers mate
Thank you so much. Receiving feedback like this makes it all worthwhile - just wish I could get the subscriber count up a little bit!
Which other modules do you have?
I'm sure it will gradually climb given your content and how popular DCS is. Only kidding re all my modules - I reckon your style and content on almost any plane would probably entice me to have a go and certainly at any of my "Hanger Queens". However the Harrier and Mig 21 are the 2 that so far I have struggled to engage with 😞 I see you have a series on the F1 so guess what is next on my "to buy" list? 🙂@@reiver1-1
@brucemulraney7045 Slow progress on the F1 series so far - IRL gets in the way.
Wouldn't mind doing a series for the Harrier, Viggen and JF-17.
I'll watch the skies then! All the best@@reiver1-1
This is badass
Let me know how you get on when you try it!
Just what we need, updated M2000 training videos. subbed.
She's an underrated airframe.
I just started to learn the M2000c and was just about to do the ILS training mission when I noticed your video. This is one of the best learning videos I have watched on YT and I am ready to Ace the ILS training mission. I am also going to go back over your other videos for the Mirage. Are you going to make additional Mirage videos?
Thanks Stanley. Glad it was useful. Yes, it is my intention to do a full series of videos for the Mirage 2000C... more to follow!
Nice video, When you get QFE from ATC, how is that translated to Hectopascal as used in the altimeter?
Thank you. A conversion chart can be found at the www.reiver.one companion website!
Sorry for responding so late. Very useful :)@@reiver1-1
