Off the coast of Rhode Island, the U-853, a Type IXC/40. The boat now sits in about 130 feet of water, with its keel in the sand. It was sunk by the Atheron & Mobley. The wreck has a hole in its side, and for the daring it is possible to traverse the interior. It is an awesome experience diving on the wreck. It was a real pleasure to see a Type IXC/40 model being crafted. Thanks man.
