Pat, I can't find a motor replacement within budget for this same bike... Can you set me up with some links for a hub motor for this bike? This motor isn't used on many bikes. The E+C kit is a bit pricey for what I want to do. Any opinion or assistance will be great.
You may have to just be on Mototec’s wait list.. I have not looked into 12” rear hub motors as it may add too much weight for this tiny bike for it to be any fun. A quality QS hub rear motor may be close to $800 also..
I'm a taller rider and I wanted to get an mx650, but do you think this is better for taller riders? Of course I know it would be a mini bike, but maybe a slightly better fit. Also do you have any recommendations for upgrades for taller riders? Also, could I use handlebar raisers on this bike?
I have two SX500's and two MX650's and the Razors definitely have more room for an adult to sit on. Slightly longer DNM rear shock, decent fork, and a set of risers would make it even more comfortable for maybe a 6'er. The MotoTec I think is better suited for 5'9 or below..
im a little new to this stuff. if i wanted to do a mini emoto, would i be better off buying a mototec and using E&C's upgrades, or getting a bit cheaper razor like a mx500? or should i just save a bunch and get a talaria or smth
oh yea i heard those rawrr mantisx are pretty good for 3k which is what buying a razor or mototec and putting a whole suspension redo and 76v kit would cost me about 3k probably too
Sooo.. I actually own a RAWRR Mantis X, Modified Talaria XXX, and a LOT of different Razors from stock SX500 all the way to modified MX650’s. I love all my bikes for different reasons and I enjoy building Razors the most out of all the bikes.. but they’re not that capable off road.
