well i would go for the 603 S3 ,as they sound very good ,others depending on the amplifier in use also the B&W as limitations to what amplifier is better to fire them up but only the power as other specifications are good in any mid-range amplifier or 70´s amplifiers with this speakers ,but Rotel did had very good speakers ,i have a entire Rotel system and the speakers are very good ,just don´t have the references in my head now as dynaudio all good brands ,the boxes i do prefer real boxes the towers are good but not as compatible as old style boxes rectangular shape ,more abragent to diferent styles of music like some cerwin-vega at-100 from late 80´s they are very good and a box with paper cones, well better say excelent
Paper woofer is because of speed. None of the newer woofer materials can match the speed & timing of the midrange. Paper cone provides the slam speed to match the fast & transparent midrange. The second reason is cost if to use a synthetic material. I however hope B&W can look into bass radiator instead of rear open port as the slam can be tighter with the bass radiator.
@@zizimai7568 yes, some of the best speakers i own have paper cones not vinyl ,well i have some made with vinyl that are excelent but no doubt paper cones came in some of the best speakers ever built it´s not stiff so it releases better sound as it extends and not only ,for some reason was the most uesd material
2 fucking grand for shit Chinese fit and finish. I used to love B&W until they moved production to China. I returned 2 pairs of 683's that had marks/scuffs on the plastic baffle. Switched to Monitor Audio. Much better qc. Good video guys.

Why paper cones for the woofers on a top of range product?
Look at the price, double, triple that you don't get paper.
