Thanks! I get excited any time I come across new/old woodwork. It's cool to imagine what these trails must have been like to ride all those years ago when they were built, and to know that some of them are still kicking!
Fantastic riding, with some wicked trials moves. Looks like you're riding a Range, I saw another video of yours with Sight. Are they both 27.5? Isn't the new version Sight pretty much the same as the Range?
Thanks! I rode the 27.5 Range up until March and have been on a 27.5 Sight this season. As I clear out my hard drive, you'll see a mix of both bikes haha. The geometry of the new Sight is quite different from the Range. Despite having 10mm less travel, it is much more aggressive from a geo stand point.
As a former trials rider myself, I was wondering how you set up your suspension on the shore. Do you like to have more PSI? Higher rebound? The adjustment to a modern full-suspension bike has been a challenge for me.
I've just given up on having a trialsy setup. My MTB setup is softer than most people run with fast rebound and little to no compression damping. It sucks for anything trials related, but since most of my riding is geared towards MTB, I've just learned to suffer when it comes to trials moves :(
Only dangerous Dave sees a 5 foot high skinny off trail across a 10 foot deep river and bunny hops over and on to it.....
This is a great trail to show friends when they visit and want to ride Shore jank, so good.
A Bookwus, Grannies, Crippler lap is always a good option!
It's funny how you give a chuckle when you come up to a skinny. Lol Good run man. Thumbs up!

The jank is strong in this one. Holy moly!
Somewhere on my computer I have a video of a bunch of us riding this when it was wet. Definitely upped the difficulty lol.
this trail looks crazy!
Crippler, upper digger and the skull are my favourite trails on fromme. Not the most enjoyable to ride but I just love that they still exist lmao
Also lower ladies should make that list as well
Long live tech trails!
man Mt. Fromme looks so sick to ride. got to get out there one day. those trial mode skinnies looked so cool. thanks as always Dave
Thanks for watching!
Sick Dave
Thanks Rick!
just watching yourself hop over to that other skinny was insane haha
man I wish I had just one tenth of your skills. Thanks for the vids
Thanks for watching!
Dude that looks so epic!
Thank you!
That trials move to get into the skinny was so insane
I like his very simple 'Classic stuff' just keeps ridding.
What bike are you riding? Love the red!
This is my old Norco Range C7. I still miss that matching red frame and fork with silver highlights!

you're vids are my favorite to watch. Hopefully this covid goes away so I can cross the border.
Thanks Dan! Hopefully this vaccine will put us on a better path.

the best bike!
Probably the best looking bike I've ever owned.
I miss that red ketchup
Me too. Don't get me wrong, I love my Sight, but the colour scheme on the Range was magical.
Bro, your seriously riding trials on an enduro bike on a tech line!... How do you do it?!
With great difficulty :p It helps when you used to be a competitive trials rider
@@ddangerousddave WOW. You got a lot under your belt!!! Hey, it would also mean a lot if you checked out my channel! No pressure though.
This is trails!
i dunno Dave. i have mad respect for your skilz...but: applying your trials soooo much just gets too gimmicky for me.
