i think this show deserve more..the non stop comedy which balancing the drama part is well written..it remind me the ''Bench-kun'' anime..but it keep getting better🤣

What I like about our Mc is that he's like a more milder version of 8man but equally a Chad, he didn't do the self sacrifice thing but I like how he kept his position as a mob, he probably will get one of the girls but in a sense, it's not like he's turning into an alpha or anything and he simply got what's there I heard there are some novels about similar things where Mc become sidekick but the author actually making him too much of an alpha that it's no different from normal story

@@highcaliber350 I somehow sympathize with her a lot since I was in a same situation as her a long time ago. Being rejected by a long-time crush does things to you. Moving on from the unrequited feelings is hard and with the feelings still strong, you can't progress romantically for a while despite having new people coming into your life. My current relationship actually saved me from that phase but we moved really slowly in a senior-junior friendship.

Having read the LN to its latest volume (volume 7) all three girls are currently just good friends with Nukumizu. While best girl Teiara (not a losing herione) actually has romantic feelings for him and is actively spending time together with him whenever possible. She might be a side character but realistically, their interactions with each other will lead them into becoming lovers compared to the other girls banter.

that was the series I wanted I really hate rom com series so I thought they would still be a comedy series but the flow of the story is going that way again
He's not seeking for a love life, he literally just got caught in between the events of these losing heroines and formed friendship with them. I actually think the "romance" progression in this story is a bit more natural than other RomCom anime. MC's just a consoling friend and has a platonic relationship with the girls, giving this anime a good interaction between the characters.
No, the guy isn't interested in romance at all. He's not pursuing the girls; he just so happened to encounter the girls, who are childhood friends with the guys they love but got rejected, and sort of forced to console them because of social etiquette. If anything, your advice should direct to the girls, not the guy.
just go back to square one of ep01, you see Nukumizu being a dude surrounding himself in romance novels. a lot of eastern kids don't really develop relationship until they reach college or start working.

The whole thing, despite being a rom-com on the surface, really feels more coming-of-age (yet another similarity to your average Kyoani production)

I'd say Anna is pretty respectful to Nukumizu overall, it's just that neither of them are ready to hop into a relationship yet. The complexity of these characters is actually one of the big reasons I like this anime.
