On one hand a neutral beige is great for its versatility, but a color wears better as far as looking cleaner longer. I’m shopping for both living room and family room furniture. I’m stumped between neutral or going with color.
Living room budget, that's hilarious, I recycled an old shelving unit and I'm using it as a shoe rack currently, my computer table that holds my keyboard and mouse was something I built out of scrap material that I got from my last apartment and the TV stand cost all of about $25 in materials for a 12 ft 1x12 pine board and then some incidental nails and glue presuming you don't include the skill saw and nail gun and compressor that I already own. So I guess I can spend a few hundred dollars on the couch is what I'm saying because I basically gave myself $30 previously 🤣😂😁

Hi Douglas Yong! Allow me to answer your question. A 3+2 seater sofa is just fine for any interior including a contemporary one. A Tuxedo, Mid-century or Lawson type of sofas work really well in any contemporary space. Moreover, the actual upholstery will define further the style you're after. So, don't confine yourself to sectional/modular sofas alone. Velvet
