In this video we take our Roush Phase 2 Supercharged S650 Mustang down the strip for its first quarter mile shake down since the supercharger was installed. Based on the trap speed, the kit is definitely mid to high 10s capable with a tire and minor suspension changes. We got 8 runs in during this test and tune night so we made the most of it.

That og cobra was putting in some work for that 11.5 @120mph. Kinda surprised it wasn’t launching any better on cup2s after the burnout
Im not, the cup 2 is tooo hard of a compound for drag racing. Even after a burnout. The lag time between the burn out and then launch is just tooo long
@ I was thinking the regular cup 2s were like a 150tw. It would appear I was wrong

Quite lol your volume must be off, I hear nothing but that loud ass supercharger through the windshield/dash/fire wall and hood....even through alllll that you here that thing scream!
@THEDriverMod_ Nope volume was up but just to show that everything sounds much different in person! Lol nice ride man
You will be in mid to high 10’s with radials. Had same issue with my hellcat when it was stock. Best I could do was 11.4 on street tires.

Yea, definitely required now. Heck, it was needed before the blower....now, it's no question

@@Steveaustin007 we'll see what the future owner wants to do. He's not gonna be taking it to the strip so that may not even be needed
@ I know heaps of guys that have broken the standard half shafts driving around the street , plus they hook up better - goes hand in hand with my steeda hop kit .

131 is a high 10 sec car
@@Reecesavage-Alwayswin and that's without a tire or suspension. It'll trap a tad faster once I'm able to hook. I'm not full throttle until probably 100 feet in

131mph trap speed is good for a mid to low 10 sec ET, you may lose mph once you get it to hook up,keep it up good work
