I’ll be perfectly honest with you, yes I will admit Flint City Councilmen Eric Mays circumvents the rules in council meetings to his own advantage but sometimes he knows and follows Roberts Rules of Order fairly in conducting meetings. The other council members, such as Quincy Murphy, Ladel Lewis, and Eva Worthing, haven't followed or read the Roberts rules of order in conducted the meetings in proper order. The City of Flint city council needs a serious parliamentarian that would conduct and govern meetings fairly. As far as I’m think the city ambassador, RL Mitchell should be the parliamentarian in conducting Flint city council meetings, RL has speech impediment issues when it comes to public speaking, but he makes more sense than Quincy Murphy’s arguments for the people in 2nd ward. Maybe, RL Mitchell or city clerk Davina Donahue should be the parliamentarian. I don’t know why they aren’t considering them as parliamentarians?

And their results are showing up yearly. I’m from Brooklyn, NY. I’ll be perfectly honest with you, yes I will admit Flint City Councilmen Eric Mays circumvents the rules in council meetings to his own advantage but sometimes he knows and follows Roberts Rules of Order fairly in conducting meetings. The other council members, such as Quincy Murphy, Ladel Lewis, and Eva Worthing, haven't followed or read the Roberts rules of order in conducted the meetings in proper order. The City of Flint city council needs a serious parliamentarian that would conduct and govern meetings fairly. As far as I’m think the city ambassador, RL Mitchell should be the parliamentarian in conducting Flint city council meetings, RL has speech impediment issues when it comes to public speaking, but he makes more sense than Quincy Murphy’s arguments for the people in 2nd ward. Maybe, RL Mitchell or city clerk Davina Donahue should be the parliamentarian. I don’t know why they aren’t considering them as parliamentarians?
I disagree with circumvent the rules. That's how people usually win by knowing the rules better than the person trying to take action. This is how companies get sued bc they get laxed with the rules and treating people any ole kind of way then the one who knows them comes back and slaps them in the face

If the Flint city council had done so by placing a parliamentarian in conducting meetings, people like Ladel Lewis, Quincy Murphy, Eva Worhing, Judy Priestly, and yes Eric Mays would have followed proper protocol. These types of personal attacks and comical jokes towards councilmembers won't help the morale and professionalism in getting the city business done.

Did you know that the Fab 5 have circumvented the rules several times within a year by changing them to meet their needs and to silence and target individuals. If that is proven they could be in a whole lot of trouble. The only clarity I see is that the meetings are chaired unfairly and that it's clear they don't know their own rules. Even the chairs have to give in to Mr. Mays, unwillingly, because he turns out to be right. He is right more than he has been wrong on the rules they have changed multiple times. It's on record if you regularly watch the entire meetings versus clips. It's recorded. How can you make such a statement based on one meeting and the lawsuit will be telling. The last court case the judge reprimanded the council and said it was clear Mr. Mays did a peaceful protest. This was a Flint judge so it will b even more telling for a federal judge, hopefully, not connected to Flint or any one close to the corrupt players there. Apparently, you really don't know the HISTORY. Go back and watch the meetings starting 2022 with fair eyes then come back to say what you said. It is contradictory to me. But that's why we have judges and they can be bias so that's why you can appeal and appeal. Plus having great lawyers makes a world of a difference in US. Please don't take anything I said as personal but I truly can't see were you are coming from based on evidence. Councilman Mays has actually won this lawsuit before against Kate Fields from previous council. He knows what he is doing. He won monetary damages on more than one case. The news didn't highlight the wins though bc they bout as corrupt as the city officials. Can Mr.Mays so a better job of staying calm, yes but if you have ever faced or fought racial injustices these are the same tactics used everywhere. It will make you go to places you e never been bc of how corrupt it is and how much you see and how much you see the victims suffer bc of the lack of good overcoming evil.
