Hola, do you know if any new versions of Mac OS work on Virtualbox using Windows 10 as the host machine? Downloaded Sonoma and Ventura ISOs but those didn't work. And why did you use a VMDK file instead of an ISO?
For anyone stuck on booting screen Open CMD in windows type: cd "C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox\" then VBoxManage modifyvm "VM Name" --cpu-profile "Intel Core i7-6700K" Thats it. Just replace VM Name with your one
I did this, now when i run the VM it begins to install for about half a second, then it encounters a critical error :/ also, how do i change the profile back to the default since it doesn't work for me?
I did that, but now I get an error saying Info on guest CPU 'Intel Core i7-6700k' could not be found. Please, select a different CPU. (VERR_CPUM_DB_CPU_NOT_FOUND).
Finally I was able to upgrade my HP Printer Firmware with this method. God knows why the windows installer wasn't working so I had to install MacOS and that did the trick!

The only part I’m still having trouble with is the resolution, I said it to look my windows OS was that but it looks ridiculously small. So I’m just keeping it at the original resolution and scaling it
