The only thing I hate with the product is that they do not come with a 2nd set of nuts for the flange told hold the bolts. The plastic washers are really only temporary.

Had this in my hand and didn’t get it. Having problems with the guest bathroom toilet. Just replaced the wax ring, shimmed, and still leaks. Going back to get this and will give updates

Make sure you don’t need to add the adaptor to raise it. That could be the problem or double up the ring (have two) especially if your ring sets below the floor.

Didn’t work. Made the toilet set even higher. I think I am dealing with an improper flange height. I’m not that knowledgeable on toilet plumbing. My father was an engineer for over 30 years and I lost him a month and a half ago. He was my plumber. So I don’t have his knowledge to teach me. Long story short we pulled the toilet a few months ago to snake it and pulled a sani wipe out. Put in a new wax ring but noticed the idiots used pennies as shims. Got it all corrected. His health was declining at the time so we did the best we could. I never got around to re-siliconing it. Fast forward to a few months later I noticed the toilet was rocking and leaking a little so I pulled it. Got every redone and still leaked. Snapped one side of the flange off that holds the bolt unfortunately. I am confident enough to replace the flange or use a proper repair kit but I am just thinking about calling a plumber to get it done right and the toilet to seat flush. It’s a shame because my guest bathroom looks like a redneck repair job and had the linoleum replaced which I hate and my master bathroom looks like a professional job with tile and zero issues with the toilet. Bought the house over 2 years ago so I’m finding all the dumb crap the previous owners did. It’s not a bad house or completely messed up though

@@imrickjames98765 I’m very sorry for your loss.
Isn’t it always the case that you try to learn to do things the right way only to find the previous person just tried to rig it to work. I watch a lot of you tube and that is one of the reason I’ve been doing this channel. If I didn’t know how to do it maybe somebody else is in the same boat. If I can show how or what I did maybe it’ll someone.
I hope it works out and I sometimes will watch hours of video tutorials before I make an attempt at something new. I wish you the best of luck.

Is it supposed to stay lil high of the grown before tightening the bolts????? Or as you tighten it's brings down the toilet flush to your floor?

It brings it tight and seals it. Or at least that’s how it works for me.

A short, that's too short. Thanks, though.

There’s a full video explaining the entire process, but if you check out the video from earlier today. I had problems with this system and upgraded to a new one that works significantly better. One-N-Done toilet seal kit.
