I watched this video originally like a month ago, but Justin's quote has sat heavily with me since then. It happens around the 39 minute mark and says:
"The thought of letting go feels like permanently erasing a part of yourself, but that is exactly what is needed in order to grow."
Amazing how great this album was in a field full of completely forgotten, overblown messes. Equally amazing how overlooked it was at the same time. Happy this video exists as I didn’t get to see this!
I did not expect to get emotional when Justin points to the crowd during Time Turned Fragile and sings, “I’m so proud of all the things you’ve done”. So much has happened in 17years. These songs still slap

I'm late to the party, but this album was my everything in 2020 and 2021. Fantastic band.

Amazing album
At least you missed the heartache of them breaking up. Though Justin’s solo stuff was really good.
@The Scentleman got into them after the breakup and honestly I would have been absolutely devastated if I had listened at the time

Their music is timeless. Many of these songs are around 20 years old and haven't aged a day.
Unfortunately we've all since aged my friend! My wife and I dating and childless when I started listening to MCS. Life has been good since, but time has flown by!
Honest to god, this is the one band from my childhood that I relate more to as the years go by. It’s aged like wine.

The "I like you" in Attractive Today is maybe the biggest dopamine hit I've ever taken
This band was on my bucket list to see live and then I heard they were no longer performing and was devastated. When they started touring again in 2022, I was there to see them in Sacramento, CA and it was so amazing. They've still got it and brought back so many memories
Justin is pushing 50 and still sounds good. Yeah he has to push a bit more to hit some of the notes but you guys should just be lucky he can still sing every song in the original key.
I was at this show, front row barricade...easily one of the best shows I've been to all year! They've still got it
One of my biggest regrets is buying tickets to this tour, but giving them away at the last minute because I was too anxious to show up to a live show. Thanks for uploading this so that I could enjoy it retroactively.

MCST was such a big part of my teen years. Helped me get through some dark times.
Funnily enough, I've had tickets to see MCS three separate times in my life and the first two times some cosmic tomfoolery stopped me from going. Then THIS time I had the tickets for January, which THEN had to be postponed to April haha

Tony Thaxtons drum parts are critically underated. Grew up playing this album back to front and the creativity is second to none.

theres yodeling, wails, runs, vocal fries. its juts good to see its not as easy for him live as it sounds in studio.
