If your cat is a "good drinker" of a normal bowl, like mine was, get their thyroid checked. It's possible they have elevated thyroid hormone. Mine was treated, maybe she just liked my filtered water :d

My 19-year-old cat passed away six months ago. My 16-year-old other cat passed away two weeks ago. I still have his brother and not sure how long I’ll have him for as his back legs are giving out. I feel for you. I had the same experience with three cats in 2019/2020. The love we feel for them doesn’t go away. It is just as it always was, and your beloved animal is just beyond your sight.
Agree, it's so soothing. I have had 3 cats and loved them all dearly. I now have a little dog. He's nearly 10. Of course he sleeps in my bed and snores when deeply asleep. I love his snoring. I have never experienced anything like this. I love this because now I can sleep with a kitty cat and not sneeze like crazy. It’s also a synchronicity since I’m currently doing a TikTok silent study live and my filter is a lion, then I find this when I’m almost done. It’s perfect 👍

I don’t think cats purr IN their sleep. Maybe to fall asleep. When I rescued my baby and she’d let me pet her, I’d sit up and pet her gently while she purred until I heard her stop and start softly snoring. ❤ She has been abused and scared and in the street and she needed lots of love.

A most beautiful film clip….Top marks indeed for composing and making it! It brings back memories of decades ago when we all relied on a coal fire for heating…and although it was a boring task the following day cleaning out the fire-place - a duty like any other of the day - to lay the fire with an old newspaper and some wood and some of the best coal if you could afford it, it was wonderful on a frosty cold winter’s evening to view the comforting flame and burning coal…and in the company of a handsome Moggie like this one here, purring away, aye ‘singing away’ we used to say…Bless their little cotton socks! my 21 year-old cat passed a couple months ago, and i miss her so, so much. i teared up a little while listening to this, she was the sweetest lady imaginable. she was such a beautiful orange cat, and so was her twin. i loved both of them so very much. her twin was so smart, though unfortunately she died years before the other. they both died around my birthday, and while i can say thats unlucky, having these two cats in my life is one of the luckiest things i can think of. i miss you, moose and tasha.

This helps me sleep so much better. Used to have a female cat who use to sleep with her head next to mine on the pillow every night and her purrs in my ears helped put me to rest. She passed away back in 2018 a few days after Christmas and since then I would go days with very little sleep until I came across this. My fur baby kept my 11 year old son company and sane whilst being home schooled during lock down. He was closed in his room cause my other little one was also home schooled and each needed silence to follow the lessons. My fur baby would come home right in time for the lessons to start, go upstairs to my son and make himself comfortable, then after school hours finished he would go back out. Bless his heart, I visibly saw my son relax when furry was near. ❤

When I rescued my baby and she’d let me pet her, I’d sit up and pet her gently while she purred until I heard her stop and start softly snoring. ❤
She has been abused and scared and in the street and she needed lots of love.

Go to a local shelter and adopt a cat. Its not replacing the one who crossed the Bridge, its giving another cat a home. Or just go and sit with cats and play with them. Your new friend will find you. You can foster cats from the shelter as well.

A most beautiful film clip….Top marks indeed for composing and making it! It brings back memories of decades ago when we all relied on a coal fire for heating…and although it was a boring task the following day cleaning out the fire-place - a duty like any other of the day - to lay the fire with an old newspaper and some wood and some of the best coal if you could afford it, it was wonderful on a frosty cold winter’s evening to view the comforting flame and burning coal…and in the company of a handsome Moggie like this one here, purring away, aye ‘singing away’ we used to say…Bless their little cotton socks! They really are a-d-or-a-ble! Very top marks, compliments and congratulations on a superb film which I shall have the pleasure of enjoying over and over again, I hope!
my 21 year-old cat passed a couple months ago, and i miss her so, so much. i teared up a little while listening to this, she was the sweetest lady imaginable. she was such a beautiful orange cat, and so was her twin. i loved both of them so very much. her twin was so smart, though unfortunately she died years before the other. they both died around my birthday, and while i can say thats unlucky, having these two cats in my life is one of the luckiest things i can think of. i miss you, moose and tasha.

This helps me sleep so much better. Used to have a female cat who use to sleep with her head next to mine on the pillow every night and her purrs in my ears helped put me to rest. She passed away back in 2018 a few days after Christmas and since then I would go days with very little sleep until I came across this. It brings me a lot of happiness because I think of her every time. Thank you so much for this. ❤

Cats are so cute when the pur and sleep
My fur baby kept my 11 year old son company and sane whilst being home schooled during lock down. He was closed in his room cause my other little one was also home schooled and each needed silence to follow the lessons. My fur baby would come home right in time for the lessons to start, go upstairs to my son and make himself comfortable, then after school hours finished he would go back out. Bless his heart, I visibly saw my son relax when furry was near. ❤
