That's a grand age and I think I know a little about how you feel as I've just lost my 18 yo senior tuxedo last January. When you've had a cat for so long and then all of a sudden they're not there it's really hard. Everything is different. In particular bed time, especially if they sleep with you or indeed on you ha ha! Would you believe my cat also used to sleep on my pillow/head and he had the loudest purr! Sadly, just this January, almost a year later I've lost my beloved Reuben too. It's heartwarming to know this video brings comfort to so many people. Cat's too, as I'm sure it's only natural that they'll like the sound too. I've just had it on for my two dog's and they're fast asleep. This is one of the sweetest sounds. On Monday I will be getting my first two kittens. I had kittens before but I had to gove them for adoption because I also had a dog. I used to save cats off the streets but because I had a dog, I couldn't keep them. Not because my dog would hurt them. He was actually scared of them... but I was living with my parents and my mom wouldn't accept a cat as well. We also had two parrots and two hamsters at some point... so yeah... now I get two kittens and get to keep them forever ❤️😻 one is white and black and will be called Pepper and the other one is white and orange and will be called Noodles. 😸 I am very excited to hold them and love them 🥰
