The problem with comparing villains is you always have each villain having lost a bunch of fights they never had any excuse losing. The hero almost always wins, the story will find a way to make them win. This is how Squirrel Girl beats Thanos, or how batman has long drag out fights against no names, then beats Darkseid or some nonsense.
With DC, it gets even more complicated because the heroes are ridiculously overpowered, which means the villains need to be made the same. And just by fighting a DC hero, you automatically gain a "feat' for having fought them :/
Batman lost to Darkseid he has never won a straight up fight with Darkseid and the fight he won he lost but won by checkmating Darkseid by telling him to release Supergirl or he blow the whole place up

David Ogundipe Batman killed darkseid. He shot him straight in the face with a bullet that can literally kill anything. Which isn’t any way near a plot hole or anything of the sort. It made perfect sense. But he’s never ever won a straight up fight. He gets bodied constantly. The ONLY time he’s done just okay against darkseid is when he used hell bat which is a suit made with everyone in the Justice leagues help. And he was amping it up with this special crystal, anddd it almost killed him

I'd think Apocalypse would outsmart Mongul once he saw his potential. One thing he's good for is scouting talent or a new body. I have to point out Apocalypse has Teleportation and Molecular Manipulation, he can just tire Mongul out from missing and chasing him. After that I can see him injuring Mongul just enough to allow him to either subdue and "Horseman" him or take over his body. Just my opinion.

I agree. By that logic Apocalypse should be the most physical strongest character in Marvel. After all, he been around for eons. Physically he should never be beaten especially if he has that much strength and power to draw upon. I hate to see Apocalypse lose physical fights. It's like he is holding back or writers are just very inconsistent. He's got way too much in his arsenal to keep losing to just anybody.
This guy is talking nonsense. The minute he admits apocalypse has an infinite power source to draw on plus centuries of experience fighting all manner of beings including gods , monsters , mutants etc. Then mongul loses simple as that. Not to mention there's absolutely no reason he wouldn't use his pyschic ablities. The trouble with all this verses shit is the modern comic writers are irritatingly inconsistent with the power levels of the various characters. That makes it really hard to pin eny of this stuff down to being more the just somebody's opinion. In reality if these characters actually existed and fought each other the power they'd unleash is beyond human comprehension. Most likely they'd destroy what ever planet they fought on and each other in the process. That being said since apocalypse can reconstruct himself from a single cell or atom then he wins by default.

I mean, with all his power and the celestial tech he’s fused himself with, he could definitely beat ss, Gladiator, and maybe even Sentry unless he unleashes the Void. And all these characters are in Superman’s league. He already beat the entire Thor corps by himself even though it happens off panel. The issue is that writers don’t know shit on how to power scale him which is why you always see him losing to the x men .

I want to agree with you cause I've become a big fan of Mongul, but you said in the beginning of the video that Apocalypse can increase his strength, size, and duarability to beat infinite levels thanks to his molecular manipulation ability. So that means he can pretty much match Mongul right? And living as long as he has, I'm being that he'll realize that Mongul is ridiculously strong, and would switch to a mental attack. Here’s the problem with both of these characters. They both have showed high strength and ability showings but both have also had very weak showings as well. Apocalypse has been beaten in one attack by magneto, granted magnetos extremely powerful in his own right but when apocalypse claims to be the most powerful mutant of all time this is a big jobber moment. Not to mention apocalypse in the comics has even emitted he fears magneto. He has also been beaten by black bolt with one shout. Mongel has been knocked out in one punch by Zod a villain who is physically weaker than Superman. He has also been outsmarted and beaten by sinestro, a character whose powers work based on fear. This power should not have been strong enough to defeat Mongul but it was granted it was their third encounter. And mongul won the previous battles.

@@btsavage3931 apocalypse was nearly killed by Thor twice, has been almost desintigrated by magneto on more Than one occasion, cable has killed him several times with and without help cyclops nearly killed him when he threatened Scott and Jean grays child. Apocalypse was nearly killed by stryfe and archangel both of which apoclapse emitted defeat. here's the thing apocalypse can have as many powers as he wants but his healing ability isn't as great as Deadpool, hulk, and lobo. Mongul on the other hand shown that he can take the entire justice league at once. He has punched superman so hard, superman compared him to doomsday( who Mongul has held his own against before). Mongul has also knocked black Adam out with one single punch and black Adam has taken on the teen titans, a version of the justice league all at once and nearly won. Mongul has beaten dozens of sinestro corps members easily and absolutely dominated sinestro a character who is nearly the same par as magneto. Apocalypse is a omega level threat yes but Mongul has shown to he's on a slightly higher tier than him.

@@btsavage3931 apocalypse didn't turn hulk into a slave, hulk volunteered after hearing apocalypse explanation. danco goes into this a lot more as well, this hulk was a weaker version of the hulk whose strength didn't increase as his rage grew and he wasn't actually fighting back. If you were to use hulk like the immortal hulk now, world War hulk or world breaker hulk or hell even just regular savage hulk this would be a fight where apocalypse gets stomped every time. Mongul is already at strength level similar to this. Superman who was unhinged tried to kill Mongul and couldn't. Mongul has been impaled by sinestro countless times hitting several vital organs and still tried to fight him. Yes apocalypse is a omega level mutant bub when your putting him against someone who casually fights to improve himself. If this was moguls son who is extremely weaker than Mongul than yes apocalypse would win but this is Mongul the elder a character who takes planetary blast and laughed.

Mongul is the stronger, faster, and more durable of the two, but this is actually a fight I can see Apocalypse potentially winning. Mongul's power levels are set, and his powers are limited to strength, some speed, and durability, along with a technological energy blast from the thing on his chest. Apocalypse is much more versatile, and though initially not as powerful, can make up the difference in other ways. It's possible for Mongul to win, but I'd probably give it to Apocalypse most of the time.

Mongul has faced foes like Apocalypse on many occassions like Martian Manhunter and had absolutely no problems with them. Apocalypse would win this, but not by much. The Celestial technology in him can reform him and allow Apocalypse to take huge blows. He can’t be killed by ordinary means. And he won’t be KOed, because he will reshape and reform. Apocalypse is also smart with thousands of years of experience.
And Apocalypse has taken down a weaker Hulk: Savage Hulk. But this Hulk was Banner-less and is the one who cracked Onslaught’s armor, when a combined Rogue, Vision, and Thor couldn’t. (Gambit said Hulk’s punch was “reality warping”) To restrain this weaker Hulk is a physical feat itself.
So in the end, Apocalypse wins. But not much.

Apocalypse is one of my favorite characters ever so I am extremely bias. I know he's not on Thanos or Darkseids level but he could be. The celestial tech could upgrade at any time. If a writer comes to marvel that loves Apocalypse as much as I do they would give him a upgrade (maybe Phoenix Force or another power source or just a straight up upgrade of tech). I really like Mongul also tho. Side not I was so pissed at Xmen Apocalypse lol. Best version of Apocalypse is in the cartoons. TAS had the best version with the best voice and quotes but Evolution was badass. Wolverine and the Xmen gave us the ultimate cock tease I ever had. It was a ok to good show that had the best ending of a season almost any marvel show ever had.

Apocalypse is more versatile but Mongul is more powerful. I could see Apocalypse finding a way to block out the Sun to weaken Mongul for the win.
Looked it up and I guess Mongul doesn't need a yellow sun. Could have swore he was from a red sun planet. At least that's what Young Justice season 2 lead me to believe.
