great video! just wondering what settings did you have to change? i was thinking of taping a concert and uploading it to youtube. i was thinking of recording in 4k. in order to upload such a huge file to youtube is there something i need to do like compress it, or will youtube easily allow me to upload a massive 4k video 2 hours long file? thank you so much! great job!!!!
The two most important settings have to do with controlling the light being captured for your footage, they are ISO and Shutter Speed. ISO controls how sensitive the camera's sensor is to light, and since for the majority of the show there is plenty of light (between the stage lights, LED screen, pyrotechnics, etc), I set ISO to my camera's lowest value at 50 (your camera's settings may have a different lowest value). The main setting I controlled throughout the performance was the shutter speed, which is the length of time that the available light is allowed to make contact with the sensor. For the majority of the performance (when there was adequate but not too much stage lighting), I had this value set around 1/125. During sections where there was an enormous amount of light, such as when there were major pyrotechnics occurring, I would raise the value to 1/350 or even 1/500 to let less light onto the sensor, allowing me to capture the details present within the flames. Sections of the show where there was very little to no light would have me drop the value to 1/90 or even as low as 1/30 to raise the amount of time light was allowed onto the sensor (note that if you have this setting at its lowest point and you still cannot see what's occurring, you will have to raise your ISO level slightly until you can see what's occurring). If you watch my footage, you may be able to tell when a visual setting is changed, that was the shutter speed and i would change as needed whenever the amount of light present changed dramatically, or in anticipation of pyrotechnics. The biggest things to watch are how stage lights and smoke look: when the ISO and shutter settings are dialed in properly, you should be able to make out detail on both light trails and on smoke plumes. I hope this helps you out. One last thing: the frame rate you choose will make a big difference on the necessary amount of light, and as such the values I defined were for 24fps filming, and may not look the best on your footage if you choose 60fps. All this means is that your ISO setting will likely have to be higher by default since you have more frames to generate and you'll need your sensor to be more sensitive to light, but other than that I think if you practice and play around with those settings, your footage will look great! Trust me, its more work to manually set your camera settings, but the footage looks way better than allowing the phone to set everything automatically. Don't hesitate to reach out if you need more info, I am very happy to help a fellow concertgoer!
@@VibinLive dude, THANK YOU so much. I am a total newbiie and you just taught me some priceless stuff. hope good karma comes your way!
how u can perform the battery life on the phone for 2hrs without pause?.. u use a external battery for sure (I have the Xiaomi Mi 45W Power Bank 20000), but... how u control the temperature of the phone recording for a long time? i have the NOTE20 Ultra, and can't record so muche time because the battery excced the temperature. :(
@@RommelPerez When I recorded this event, I removed the SIM card, kept phone on airplane mode, and used power saving. I kept the phone fully charged and off from the time I left the hotel, as well as the entire time I waited for the show (I used a spare phone with Ticketmaster for any/all other necessities). I proceeded to turn the phone on no more than 10-15 minutes prior to the beginning of the event to maximize the battery life. I used no external battery for this recording, however I will be using an external battery for the ACL Festival footage I will be recording next weekend. I think if you follow the steps I mentioned above, you should have no issues with the phone overheating, as there will be no background processes running if the phone is on airplane mode + power saver.
@@VibinLive thank u thank u thank u... i wll tryed the next time.. your are gold! :)
"We request that you do not film the show"..... ~out pops 10,000 phones set to record~ lol Was a great show and such an experience.
Actually 40,000
@@alejandron7814 Yea I was well under the actual number hah
Just put your Phones away and Do shit like moschpits and enjoy the Show
Lack of respect I if you ask me.
@@MetalGildarts Absolutely....had me so mad at the show.
I have been to over 300 concerts of various bands, artists, performers and genres in my 42 years on earth. This show is by far THE BEST, MOST IMPRESSIVE concert I have ever seen. I saw them at Gillette Stadium and I'm still obsessing over it.
I've seen hundreds of concerts and this was on another level. I traveled from Canada and every second of the 11 hour drive was worth it.
Totally agree! 49 years old here... 100s of concerts and festivals. This was HUGE! Just secured tickets for 2023 in Denmark 🤩
I agree. I just saw them at the LA Coliseum on the 23rd, in the Fleurzone. We were a bit right of center. And about half way back in the crowd. This was our first time seeing them. When I was looking into it, I kept reading about "BEST SHOW EVER!" - and I was like "Well, that's what a mega fan would say. It's going to be good. But that good?". After I saw some clips of their NA tour that sold me on having to see them. So much god damn fire! Something you can't see live, anywhere else.
There are several factors that contribute to the success of the show.
1 - The venue - seeing it in a large sports stadium adds a whole new level to the spectacle. Plus having a stadium full of people enjoying the show helps too.
2 - The visuals. This encompasses the lighting, smoke, fireworks, and fire. When it got dark in the stadium, that stage became it's own character. That thing was alive at times. Especially during the beginning part of Deutschland.
3 - The sound. The band sounded SO good live. The music and vocals just sounded so good. And LOUD! We brought ear plugs. That helped us have normal hearing after the concert. Having the bass and subwoofer pulsating in your body was unreal.
4 - The FIRE! I know I mentioned that in "2 - The visuals' but I have to make a special mention of it here. I've never seen so much fire used in a show ever! Especailly during Bonne. I didn't check to see if you captured the rear towers belching fire, but they were. It's like having a "surround fire" setup. Center, Front Right, Front left, Surround back right, Surround back left, Surround back center. You could feel the heat from the front ones going off where we were in the Fleurzone. It felt safe. But it was so exciting. There's something primeval and mesmerizing about fire. We've all experienced that in the fireplace, campfire, or beach pit fire.
One last goofy point. The concert reminded me of when a cartoon show takes a concert and exaggerates it. But in this case, it's like Rammstein took that cartoon and exaggerated that!
So yeah, I agree. I'm 51. I've not seen as many shows as you. But that was hands down, the best concert I've ever experienced it. Bar none.
I am 61, only go to rammstein concerts, everything else does not compare
I just saw this show in Philly last month and outside of Pink Floyd in 1994, this was the second greatest show I was ever at.
This was my first BIG concert... aaaand now all others are ruined, thanks Rammstein 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Pretty much. Only future concert that will live up to a Rammstein concert is the next Rammstein concert. Iron Maiden and Metallica, TSO, and Ghost are up there too as far as the live show experience but no one else can touch Rammstein.
No kidding. This show was my daughter's first concert ever, we enjoyed every second of it... I told her don't feel bad if no other show ever lives up to your expectations from now on.
@@JonathonSisson 😁😁😁😁😁 i hold high hopes for In This Moment and Otep as they get older
yeah, that is what i am afraid of, no matter how good a production of any band will be, i will always be like "but this ain't as crazy as rammstein"
This was a 2.5 hour Superbowl show. You won't see anything like it again
I've never felt the beat in my bones like I did at this show. I don't always listen to German music, but when I du, du hast, du hast mich.
Yeeesss...I'll never forget that first kick drum coming in during the intro to Armee der Tristan, feeling that pulsing in my chest. Incredible.
I remember shortly after the piano duet before Rammstein came on they were doing some sound testing and I felt the initial bass drum shake my organs. I thought, oh man, that was a mistake, no way it’s going to be that loud. Boy was i wrong. I have friends that live a few blocks away and they said they could hear the music…
@@user-gf8fr9le8o I was almost in the front in San Antonio, I felt that first initial drum hit, it cut right through me. I even thought to myself "I've made a mistake". lol
The same at Milton Keynes England
And the song Radio was especially loud.
I remember talking to random crowd members after the show and many said they'd been to many Rammstein shows and various other concerts and no other concert they'd been to was that loud.
I think most of Europe has permanent hearing loss 😅
Love 'em or Hate 'em...It's a class act that puts the entire credits of every member of the road crew at the end of the show.
That is so true, I was going to comment about it, but you beat me to it! They do the same at the end of their videos as well &, its just a lovely thing to do... & I haven't seen any other performers do it. They also seem to be genuinely appreciative of the audience, & can't seem to thank them enough! You can see how the audiences reaction means so much to them & they seem really surprised at the reception they get....I think it's wonderful.
the kraftwerk-esque deutschland intro was the BOMB! this is the BEST live show band EVER.
We waited in line for swag... then we came in.
My favorite part too!! So awesome!!!!
By far and large the best concert I've ever witnessed
Watching Engel as Till welcomes his brothers back on stage one by one..and all of them bowing together. You can really feel the love this band has for not only us, but each other. I want to cry watching this 😭 What a legendary band!
Damn....that intro gave me chills.
Ya I want a longer version of that song with the build up. That was the coolest shit ever!
I know right
These guys are the gods of industrial metal
Well , i`m from Germany and listen to "Du hast" the Whole Stadium in Texas is singing in German :D In Germany we say: GEIL !
This show was hands down one of the BEST I have ever been too , never gonna forget it.
I love how classic Rammstein Armee der Tristen is.
Just went to the LA show...hands down, the GREATEST show I've ever (or will ever) attended. They are just geniuses!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for posting and the show breakdown...great video
Sonne is still a masterpiece. Chills every time.
great song and had the best pyrotechnics and lights of the show!
Fucking AWESOME show I will never forget. Hopefully they come to Texas at least one more time before they get too old
Look at the Rolling Stones. Imagine if they quit in their early fifties. Some of their best music would never have been made. Many good years ahead for these guys.
They will never be too old!
Dude there was a 70 years old in the seats next to us...I don't think you can ever be "too old" for something like this 😉
@@brandyjohnson7892 i was at the show in metlife stadium and i'm seven oh and i love this band
What are you talking about? They're a bunch of youngsters! 😁🤘
Was in the upper deck of this show and it was amazing. I’ve been to many concerts over a lot of years and nothing compares to how awesome this show was.
Greatest concert I’ve ever been to and experienced. Unforgettable night.
The best show in the world. 🔥🎸
My friend. I was there in the upper seats. I must thank you for holding your phone 2+ hours for us to remember how great it was!
One of the best shows i have ever seen. Totally awesome!!
First live show I ever went to and my neck was sore for 3 days after from headbanging and I had pink eye. Worth it
Rammstein are so far ahead of there time. Which is crazy because it’s 2022
I was probably 15 feet to your right! What an amazing show!!!
Tasbrock what was the sound like in the firezone ...I’m going to Madrid next year I’m interested to know if it was clear
Same here
@@paccyc128 I'm also interested. I have never been to a metal concert, even though I listen to metal since my teenager ages. I have seen the Rammstein concert in Zürich from my ex-boyfriends' balcony and since then I listen to them every day. Next year day play in my hometown exactly on my 30. birthday, so I am considering to go to the show. But don't know whether it's good in the Feuerzone, I am also only 146 cm (4.79 feet) high (or small :D) and don't know whether I would see and whether people would just push me the whole time aroung. I am a bit afraid. Any experiences?
@@jaceygrant236 we were literally 4 people from the front wall. It is loud! I think we may have lost some of the full range being so close. I think a little further back the sound has a little more time to develop. I had a hard time hearing Richard's solos...but...the sonic wall coming out of there was amazing. The hairs on my arms and legs stayed vibrating through the whole show!
@@tasbrock thanks so much for the reply I think we will try towards the back of the firezone..really appreciate the information I can’t wait to see them 🙏
Amazing, seen them In Europe. The best effect is „Sonne“ when he sings „here comes the sun“ and you feel the heat of the flames, like you feel the sun on your face
Hier kommt die Sonne…
I was there! Crazy good! Best birthday gift ever!
best concert ive ever been too, the bar has been set high
The photographer has captured the lightshow beautifully. However, a concert is so much more than that. There are also the people who make it possible - the performers. How wonderful it would be to see the expressions on their faces as they preform their talented roles. This is the best band in our time, and I want to see the men that are performing this amazing ... well, performance!
I was at this VERY show!! On the opposite side of FireZone.... saw them at Minneapolis too this last tour. PLEASE COME BACK TO USA GUYS! You are so loved and adored! ALWAYS a great show... they give 1000000000%!!!
First time seeing them even as a German and it was the best concert I’ve been to! Definitely worth the wait and it was over way too quick
Ich habe sie 1998 zum ersten Mal in Berlin gesehen... das war eine tolle Show, aber für deutsche Verhältnisse zahm!
I dont speak German, I'm full Mexican but DAMN! WE LOVE RAMMSTEIN! I saw them in Chicago during Labor day weekend, and my 3rd Rammstein Concert. I want more!
@@ar9ar99, dude... I'm Mexican, and I learned German... it's not difficult; just takes diligence!
@@ke6ziu du hast sehr gut deutsch gelernt 😁👍 perfect...What did you do in Berlin in 1998?
This is the best video of Rammstein in concert that I've seen! You've done an fantastic job & with a mobile phone.....just outstanding!
This is incredibly kind of you to say, thank you so much! I'm glad you appreciated the effort I put in :) next time the audio will be better, I promise!
@@VibinLive I was at the show, the venue did not help the audio. I wish they play a better venue.
@@VibinLive the venue at Selma would have been better, seen a bunch of ozzfest there
@@jimmymetal713 I've yet to visit the venue in Selma, hopefully one of these days I can catch a show there!
@@VibinLive I really wish they played Houston, so many better venues but thanks for the video and for the capturing this memory. I flew from Hawaii to see this, I'm originally from Houston but I lived in Austin during the pandemic and moved to Hawaii this year but my friend passed away and we were supposed to go together he didn't get to go so I had to go for his honor. So thank you for videoing it.
Thanks for recording this! We were there! Upper right but you brought it up close. Was so fng amazing! Bad ass!❤️
There are plenty of videos of the Rammstein Stadium show, but this is by far the best! Great job!
That is incredibly nice of you to say, thank you for that sentiment! I try and do the best job I can when I record these events and it makes me happy to have those efforts recognized :')
Das letzte Mal, als mein Mann und ich sie gesehen haben, war, als wir in Deutschland waren. Es war schön, sie wieder im Konzert zu sehen. Tolle Show Jungs.
Great show guys. The last time we saw you we were in Germany
Sie sollten ihre Show 1998 in Berlin gesehen haben! Rammstein auf gleichem Niveau, aber mehr für den deutschen Konsum!
I was there. It was perhaps one of the greatest things my eyes have ever beheld.
i just LOVE the fact that it was filmed from Paul's side, since he's my favourite 😍
My favorite video of the set - I watch this over and over (especially the intro) and it takes me back to that experience in Los Angeles. Thank you for posting. Thank you.
I'm so glad you enjoy it, thank you. I revisit it too, such an amazing production and I hope I have the opportunity to see Rammstein again live one day.
Thanks for this! I was able to relive the entire show 😊! I’m STILL in awe 🖤❤️🖤
I was in this concert, an incredible experience, didnt want to go home. And i did recorded a lot lol..fking rock
Fantastic video and show. Thank you for capturing this so cleanly.
Nice Bro. Excellent 👌 concert. I will remember this moment forever ♾️!!
The energy exuded by the band on Sonne after all these years is just incredible. Still a blinding song. Great Video. Now if only someone could just get good audio, Lol - danke
Thank you for the show!
The start” please don’t film” *filing in 2 hours*😂❤
I was on the bottom rows of the Upper level, and I had to exit about 20 minutes early because the smoke up top was overwhelming lol. So I'm grateful to see the parts I missed. Thanks!
This is awesome! Thanks for posting!
Was in the feuerzone and the first time I’ve ever seen them. Amazing and I only knew one song!
Nice spot for close up, I was mid floor on the Flake side, I feel like I got more panoramic of what was going on, but now get to enjoy close up thanks to your filming, thank you.
Incredible video!! I wasn't able to attend and had to sell my tickets which I bought in 2020. So really nice to see this show in such good quality.
Awesome recording and audio, similar spot to where I was in Foxboro so you're really taking me back. Thanks a lot 🤟🏻
Thanks for posting!
I believe this tour is going to be on Blu-ray. I saw lots of cameras recording at Chicago show
I really hope so!
@@VibinLive they will because they haven’t done one since Madison square garden in 2010 and the one in Paris. I have both on Blu-ray. They are badass on Blu-ray
I only saw cameras from the sound booth in Chicago. But I did read they are going to film the last three shows of the tour in Mexico. 4K Blu-ray
Well I heard their not doing meet and greets in Mexico City because their recording, which obviously sounds like they’re gonna release something and then recording live songs. It’ll be neat because they’ll have done nyc, Paris, and now Mexico City for their most recent live performances
@@xavier-qu7ye yes this would be the tour to do a Blu-ray for sure and live song album
I've been to some really good shows. This one though, above them all. I was in the 200 section centered with the stage. absolutely incredible.
I was at this show in the Fuhrerzone too! This was absolutely without a doubt the best damn show I've been too, and I've been going to shows since I was 14. No other band on this planet has yet to match what Rammstein does on the stage. I've seen them, but goddamn... not in this capacity. That production was absolutely incredible! This show will stick with me for many yrs!
Du hast is what murder my voice I love the concert so much
The moment he let off the explosion from the intro, I kinda sorta lost my hearing LOL. Worth it!!!
haha first time we heard that my brother scared so bad. :D We still laugh when we think about it.
Pardon the pun, but I hear you! LOL! In previous years, it's taken me a couple of days to get my full hearing back after Rammstein concerts, so this concert I got ear plugs, especially because of that intro. I'd watched videos of the concerts in Europe and that intro sounded heart-stopping. They helped quite a bit and didn't muffle the sound. Best concerts ever, though!
nice job of camera/audio and awesome concert !!! thank !!!!
Wow!!!
With the timestamps and everything???
GREAT WORK & THANK YOU FOR THIS❣❣❣❣
That is some sweet footage thanks bro!
I have seen them over 10 times and this was the best one but only the most painfull one. I was there with my girlfriend who i being seeing for a year and it was the best night of my life, my girlfriend who never was a fan but loved the concert afterwards and me a superfan from all the way back in 1999 together enjoying the band. Little did i know that 2 days later my relationship would start to crumble and 2 weeks later we would separate. Now i look back at this with the love for the band and the night i had with my ex, but it's also very painful.
You are genius. One of the best self shooted video. Thank you!
Thank you for the kind words!
Great 👍👍👍👍👍
Wow, great video. Thank you for sharing. I'm seeing them my first time on Friday in LA!
Last time Rammstein played a date in LA the show was in the Forum. This production is on a whole other level, and 2 nights at the Coliseum. It boggles the mind.
AWESOME...Thank You !!!
Hey thanks a lot for uploading this. My wife and I saw the Montreal show at Parc Jean-Drapeau on August 21, 2022.
We were standing pretty much right where you are. So this for us was like watching the show all over again. It was an amazing show all around at both concerts.
top 5 show for me...first-time here in San Antonio I've seen them
Engel in that version always gives me the shivers. Such a deep song, and with the audience singalong it makes it even more amazing.
Hands down best concert I've attended, but I feel with it being in the Alamodome, we were robbed of thr full Pyro effects
Certainly the case when we couldn't see the stage for the last half hour! :D
this was my first concert ever they gave one hell'va show 🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥🤘🤘
The majority of each Show in Europe, was in Daylight, hence the very striking appearance of the Set.
In a lot of places in North and Middle Europe the sun goes down late in summer. In Germany we have still sunshine at 10:00 pm. When should they start their concerts to play in darkness?
@@TheKitaroHouse I watched them in early July and early August in Europe. (And I'll be watching them next year in July again). With the sun going down and the moon rising above the set, a wonderful sight! All has it's 'charm' so to speak. Both concerts I attended were in the open. On enormous fields. The one in August, only 300m from the North Sea beach!
It's sad that electronic equipment never catches the sound completely. Till's voice is much much better than phones can record. Apart from that, Rammstein is by far the best live act there is.
Hey, even in the nose bleed seats, it was still awesome!
Got into Rammstein when I was 8 (24 ATM). My older brother and little sister made fun of me for liking them but when we became adults they both went with me to see Rammstein in San Antonio. My little sister and I got to hold the rafts after Engel. By chance I led us to in front of the N stage not knowing they'd come out for the encore. Thank for you for this video.
Thanks for sharing this! That was such an amazing evening! I was there too, in the seats behind the fire towers, so after a while (I think after Sonne), it got so smoky that the rest of the concert was like viewing through fog. In another video, a guy commented that he was in the Feuerzone and when he looked back, the whole stadium had disappeared behind the smoke. Still, I wouldn't change a thing...except maybe putting a retractable roof on the Alamodome, lol! Thanks again!
i really hope i get to see rammstein live one day
GREAT!!!!
One of the best days of my life ❤️ ♥️ 🇩🇪 I was there!!! Great concert!!! I'm obsessed 😍 I even want to save to go to their European 2023 tour!!
I saw it in Zürich wunderfull.. Greetings from Swizerland 🇨🇭
Nice. They played the same exact songs at MetLife Stadium. I was at the one at MetLife Stadium and it was amazing.
They are playing the same setlist in every country
Same met life dude as well
Despite the rain (which finally stopped about an hour in) at the NY/NJ show, this was one impressive concert. And I've been to some big concerts before like Pink Floyd, Stones ect. each concerts has its own merits but this concert was insane!
I was there amazing show !
you lucky people, get to see the whole show in the dark 🤣 Enjoy it.
I was there in Montreal, the 1st show of the North-Am Tour. It was awesome and it rained like Hell
Is that the show that was delayed? I saw a video somewhere of a show that was rained out
@@VibinLive Nope, that show was in Warsovia. In Montreal we caught the rain twice : before and after. The show was clear, but we were drenched :)
Yup. Once you go Ramm, nothing else gives fun 🤣
I'm so excited about the concert in Mexico City and this get my excitement level to space. Dumb question, how early you arrived to get front row? I want to try to get as near to the stage as I can (I'll be in the feuer zone) hope you can guide me, thanks for the awesome video!
The production sent out an email a few days prior with times that the parking lots opened so I arrived as soon as I could. Parking opened at 2pm and they let us in closer to 6pm, so it was a decent wait but definitely worth it.
It was fantastic show! I was in fire zone!

heavyyyy 💥
I was up on the 3rd level with binoculars here, but next time I'm gonna try to go for the feuerzone!! Looks awesome!!!
It's worth whatever they charge for it but don't tell'em that 😏
Amazing video, thank you for capturing 🔥
How do you stabilize video? I've been using S20 ultra a while ago and as i remember in 8K it was very hard to have not shaking video. But you did everything great 👍
That's nice of you to say! I held the video as still as I could but I notice a lot more shaking than I would like. I wish I would be able to bring a stabilizer to shows with no issue, but I would think most venues would not allow it unfortunately so I don't try. My method is use two hands to keep the camera as still as possible.
@@VibinLive great job and thank you one more time.

Awesome video!
What program do you use to combine videos to make one?
How do you timestamp on the video?
The vid was shot in one take, I uploaded it to YT directly from my phone after it was recorded. Timestamps for chapters are added after the video is uploaded by placing them in the description of the video, start with "0:00 Song Title" and add them sequentially as needed to mark the different songs (check the format in the description of the video, chapters will generate with at least three or more timestamps).
@@VibinLive is taking a video in one shot better than individual (after each song)?
@@myaccountvideos Not sure. What I was doing on the channel previously was recording everything in one take, then separating and uploading each individual song separately. But what I noticed in terms of views is that the longer videos perform MUCH better in terms of views when compared to the videos for the individual songs. If you have time, search the full performance video I uploaded for Ghost last month (currently at 23K views) as compared to the view counts of the individual songs from that same performance (the lowest has 17 views, the highest has 300, not even close to the 23K of the full performance vid). Not to mention it was much more work for me to separate the videos, upload each video separately, add titles and descriptions, etc. So, full performances have been faring better on my channel from my recent experience, but your results may vary.
My wife and I were in the 300s area in rauch zone, lol
